Why? It obviously kept him occupied for a nice salary, and as soon as a big job came along he was next cab off the rank.....
Like many lines of work, it can look better to be in a job rather than playing golf or sat around at home
Imagine being James.....convinced to leave Madrid only for Carlos to <deleted> off the other way

He must regret ever going there. I would expect some of the better players will be looking to see how they can follow him out of the door.
They'll be feeling it the fans, massive crossroads for the owners this...

Ancelloti mentioned late in the season. "if you don't like Everton, leave" It appears he has taken his own advice.
I wonder if he will leave Everton off his CV, one of those jobs you just paint over with a bit of down time.

It seems the previous page has been archived due to lack of interest. So bumping up for the blues.

Still the best team in Manchester lads, by a country mile. I do believe that was your best chance to win the UCL though.

We got lucky, harsh for Leicester and Liverpool also got the rub of the green during their run in. Seems like the normal order has been restored again, at least for another year.............
I know a couple of very happy hammers (finishing above Spurs)
Liverpool got 26 points from 30 in their last 10 games, hardly rub or the green. You guys couldn't even rise to beat Villa to secure a CL place. May as well give City the trophy.

And neither does City, as witnessed by the recent losses when Pep has made loads of changes and played basically a B team and been beat.
My point was certain managers, think Wenger may have started it, purposely weaken the teams in domestic cups.
Bench vs PSG May 5th
Ake 41M
Laporte 57M
Cancelo 52M
Mendy 50M
Rodrigo 62M
Sterling 49M
Gabriel Jesus 27M
Agüero 35M
Ferran Torres 20M
Total: 393M"

I like it. Makes you wonder why other managers don't try and win all 4 trophies every season.
Because they don't have the luxury of making 7 changes and still have the same strength first eleven.

Haha one of the 6000 from'82....a true small club mentality.
And another loser.
It will be even funnier if they end up losing the UCL final, and AGAIN to Leicester, and end up playing Europa next season ????

All they need is Pawson to be ref for all 3 games and it will be nailed on.
Anthony Taylor for the Liverpool match

He'd probably never seen so many prozzies in one room, the night he received his first salary.
