  1. Anything equalling "beer bar girls" in either of those aforementionned three countries? Portugal, Panama, Spain? If you know anything and have expertise to share privately please PM me if it's deemed too sensitive for public posting.
  2. Quoted for truth! And I'm also tempted to use this as my profile's signature. PS: I CAN'T BREATHE!!!
  3. I'm afraid not; I do not know the history of every websites I visit on the internet; is that a crime? is that a sin?
  4. That would imply this website was founded by a dodgy person forging documents and visas?
  5. ...to keep carrying on fleecing and scamming foreigners/tourists at every chance they get instead of trying to educate themselves, get a proper job, get out of the adult industry and elevate themselves in society. This is Thailand.
  6. Indeed leaving was the right move. We’re drifting off-topic but I am a westerner farang looking towards Cyprus and Greece as we speak to spend my older days, Thailand has lost its appeal. But I wouldn’t mind buying a small T2 condominium in either Athens or Nicosa or Limassol with a little gardened terrace or even a balcony with a nice view. You feel me? Edit: Italy also, Sardinia, Calabria.
  7. Precisely; left as soon as the COVID-19 thing blew over with no regrets. Until there's a strict reform of how they treat us at the Jomtien immigration office and how the Banglamung Land Office improves it's seriousness and it's command of the English language usage, they are not seeing one extra single baht from me. Nada, zero, zlitch. Not 1 baht.
  8. Which brings us up back at the very start of this thread/conversation, properly titled "Thailand sex workers left struggling" asking themselves if they'll ever be able to fleece tourists ever again? That is all they are complaining about. That is what the core of the article is all about, it isn't about "how can we reinvent ourselves? how can we seize this pandemic as an opportunity to call for a progressive change? how can give a good attempt at reinventing the wheel?", it's none of that. It's "How the taxi mafia can retain very little control it has over Uber and competitors so we can keep scamming tourists?", "How can your typical bargirl/mamasan/barowner can keep fleecing the tourists with excessive and unnecessary barfines so we can keep milking those idiot farangs over and over?", "How can we change the property laws a tidbit to make sure foreigners invest in overpriced poorly maintained condominiums to keep the cash flow pouring into our flawed economy?", "How can we revoke visas, add unnecessary loopholes and extensive requirements to retirement visas etc, so we can milk those foreigners for even more money?", etc, etc, etc... The country hasn't progressed an inch over the past 40 years; it is still all about 1% of the population the "Hi-So" living it up in Bangkok hirise condos while the other 99% rest are struggling either in the sex trade industry or in the rice fields. The country will never change as long as it's coups after coups; corruption after corruption self elected officials and of course scams towards foreigners scam after scam after scam. They had one very tiny slim chance at change two years ago with the election, they dissolved the Future Forward party to make sure this would NEVER happen again, this country is fubar'ed beyond repair. My only advice as a foreigner is; fly in, empty your testicles, fly out. There's nothing else waiting for us here nor there will ever be.
  9. Time to let foreigners invest in real estate? Maybe? I know I'm daydreaming...
  10. This is where I drew the line and stopped reading your post/reply. It seems to me you can't have a friendly chat on the internet without attacking others or throwing nasty phrases like "they earn more than you ever did" and so on which is totally unnecessary and uncalled for. If you want to continue engaging with me that's fine, I'm always interested in open minded conversations but please use some common sense and fix your attitude first. Thank you.
  11. That is one of the reasons why I don’t pity them, many of these bar girls were getting drunk (for free mind you), going on an alcohol binge paid by the customers (that’s us!) on a nightly basis, doing bars snooker tournaments, even playing blindfolded darts competitions, partying like there’s no tomorrow while getting paid for it And I’m not even mentioning the constant buffets parties thrown every month or so whenever it was a bar girl’s birthday party. Trust me they are not to be pitied at all, they had a good time, most of the time and now they’re back to work in the rice fields or carrying rocks 8 hours a day under a boiling sun in the middle of Sakhon Nowhere. THAT is precisely what they are complaining about. Nothing else. There’s no more tourists to fleece, no more foreigners to take advantage of, no more sick buffaloes stories to tell. They just want an easy way back to their previous antics, scamming foreigners and tourists just as they used to, it is when facing adversity that the human mind takes the path of least resistance. For most of them it meant: Being active in the sex trade industry and mug tourists at the first chance they get. This is Thailand.
  12. Nicosia, CY. Limassol, CY. Marrakesh, MA. Da Nang, VN. There used to be Savanakhet but the Chinese ransacked it a few years ago, effectively destroying the foreigner oriented bar scene.
  13. It would appear he asked a legitimate question. So there’s really no reason to be so aggressive and so negative about it. Your post/reply/answer brought nothing to the table and serves no purpose as far as I can tell.
  14. Sure enough, the next time you see Sasha Grey on the filthy side of Pattaya’s beach road haggling tourists walking by screaming “welcooooome sexy man!”, please call me. Until then I’ll call your “argument” a moot point. Regardless we all can conclude that Thailand is done for, the damage has ran its course, there now are far cheaper and far better destinations for those who wish to engage in pay for play activities. To be clear, I don’t blame any of the men who do… I used to be one of them and that was 12 years ago…
