I still laugh when I was caught many years ago with no license - roadside cop charged me 400 gave me a receipt and told me show this if you get stopped again and you will not need to pay

Yeah, but she then ran of when the lady that was helping asked for details

Police told her (after 3 hours at the station - before going to hospital) That no one was at fault as she did not hit the other bike - even though the other bike rider was an unlicensed schoolgirl and pulled out without looking - they would not track her down.

So if you get a pension in UK or/and Australia you do not need to pay tax if you live off of savings ???

No Helmet ? I went on and on to my wife about wearing a helmet - till the point where I threatened to remove all the keys. 2 weeks after she complied she had an accident helmet smashed and cracked on one side, would have taken half her face off and cracked her skull. Now she never goes ot without one ( probably because I would remove the keys - but that is the attitude here)

Most responders have actually understood that I was referring to my visa stamps in my old passport being accepted by immigration on my return.

Can I renew my OZ passport while in Australia, my reentry permit and extension of stay will be on the old passport
