it's good that Thailand is embarking on a world-class clinical trial. where is the robust, randomized, double-blind protocol. the intradermal has not been tested for marketing authorization, it seems to me.

The virus does not take in Thailand, I would like to know why?
Is it the chili pepper consumption?
Thailand can't be lucky, there is a trick but no one is looking for the reason...

Seeing the problem only from the point of view of hospital occupation is very simplistic.
Even asymptomatic people have sequelae...
Omicron already has babies BA.1 / BA.2 / BA.3
The only thing we know is that BA.2 is in India and that it seems more contagious because it has become the majority in Denmark.

This gentleman would be responsible if he said please reopen, we cover all costs beyond 15,000 cases and cover the health costs of foreigners without insurance.
Because according to him, the government must pay the health costs and hoteliets must take the profits.

The big problem with all these mind-altering substances... is that they're mind-altering.
For example : drive under the influence of one and kill everything that moves, go out with your gun and play like in Doom. fun activities.
legalizing murder isn't a problem, I was on hallucinogens...it wasn't me!

Don't Thailand use those new PCR tests that can detect omicron without doing whole genome sequencing.
That could maybe save them some time.
these PCRs do not directly detect the virus but a mutation exclusive to a variant ... it is necessary to sequence regularly because a new variant with an identical mutation may appear.

How many farang with covid go into quarantine hospital? Only those forced to by severe illness or forced to by medical authorities. Most don't. Places like Phuket and Pattaya unfortunately have more than their fair share of anti social farang who think they are above the law.
How many farangs without a helmet when there is hardly any who dare at home ...
The smallest motorbike here is 125cm³, how many farangs have the driving license for it ?

It's in Thailand already, and looking at how quickly it's spread in other countries there's nothing that can realistically be done to stop it. I'd suggest the vulnerable try to stay at home and avoid contact as much as possible and wait it out. Everyone else should just get on with their lives, it's silly to get terrified about a virus that causes symptoms similar to the common cold in most people. If the Gauteng experience is anything to go by, the worst will be over quite quickly, and then the vulnerable can come out of hiding.
this is the immediate effect of COVID, you forget the 30% long COVID.

So it bags the question of what the use of the PCR tests before the flight and the quarantine if those tourist are still being/getting infected i ask...
before departure it is to avoid infesting the plane and to protect other passengers. this is the minimum that a quality airline should ask for.

This poster does a daily spreadsheet on daily cases per province per 100,000 population

number of cases smoothed over 7 days?

Before opening to foreigners vaccinated and with negative PCR, it would be necessary to wait until a large number of Europeans had the disease.
COVID kills in 30 days on average.
Unlike Delta when one in a family catches it, the whole family has Omicron.
New York's pediatric emergencies are overcrowded.
Only children under 5 years old are not vaccinated ...
It may not be the old people and the most fragile obese this time ...
-
more than 100 cases including 22 Omicron ... 22 contamination for a meal in a restaurant.
78 people in restaurants with COVID what is the incidence in Thailand?
it is really huge.
Note : How to compare regions of Thailand in being brought down to the population. never any communication on the incidence rate!

WHO relies on the data that countries are prepared to provide. example
- China which masked the dangerousness of the virus ... on this information the WHO let slip the virus in the whole world.
- the population of South Africa is under 30 on average, it is not the under 30 who fill the hospitals ...
Omicron is 3 times more contaminating than Delta. given the difficulty of stopping Delta, it seems impossible to stop Omicron. if Omicron is like Delta there will be 3 times as many people in hospitals.
everything indicates that the two doses of vaccine have a marginal effect on Omicron. we will end up as with the first wave with a virus 40 times more contaminating, it is therefore: COVID-21
Double Delta and Omicron infections have been identified. there may be two viruses circulating at the same time like the flu sometimes.

attention South Africa is a young country with an average age of 30 years.
Don't forget : COVID is problematic with people 50 and over ...
you have to wait to see what is happening in a country of 'old' people!

Sinovac, Sinopharm and Sputnik have not applied for authorization on the European and American markets. robust scientific studies are required.
scientific studies are still being analyzed in the USA and Europe and shortcomings have recently been reported without fundamentally changing the conclusions (fortunately)
Remember... Hungary refused the Sputniks it had ordered because they were not identical to the reference samples ...
Chile is vaccinated with Chinese vaccines, Delta has arrived and has done very badly ...

80% of people unfortunately come for the nights (drink, drugs, sex ...)
Thailand only wants quality tourists so only the other 20%.
That 20% will not spend more than they did in 2019.
The tourism industry will collapse.
(If the 80% bothers you put 70% or 60% but the result will be the same.)

People with COE, because the Thailand Pass is not accessible. they would have come without the reopening!
The PCR test capacity is limited, it may be more than a day in SHA with a lot of tourists ... It is in SHA until test result, do not forget !!!
The PCR machine can also break down ;-)))

A foreigner must be able to buy housing.
It is not a financial investment.
The foreigner must occupy it and not be able to rent it for more than 6 months per year.

For drugs (including vaccines) the drug must be approved, the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine is approved.
But also that the production site must be. unfortunately the factory in Thailand It is not because it is not intended to export to Europe.
AstraZeneca vaccine produced in India too ...
That could change because it will cause a lot of worry.
On the other hand, Sinopharm and Spoutnik are not at all approved in Europe. Sputnik was received in Hungary and returned because not identical to the samples!
Hungary wanted to disobey Europe because Sputnik did not provide the necessary documents for homologation.
For Chinese vaccines, they did not approach the European FDA.

Why are there unvaccinated children with parents in Phuket Sand box?
It does not say the face mask everywhere even on the beach ...
Electronic position control like offenders, prisoners...
And don't forget : Strangers are bad people who are dirty !

The vaccine does not prevent infection or transmission.
It protects you from severe forms and death.
It's complicated to understand !!!
Person vaccinated or not it is necessary to have the same vigilance.
Vaccinated, we are contagious half a time.
