Another negative reaction? Bring it on I’m completely amazed by you, masters of the world. What’s the problem? -

Why such a negative reaction? You can solve your problems somewhere else. -

I want to be in Thailand, and one of the few jobs I can do is teaching. -
Why do the Thais do that? They’re really so stupid. I feel completely helpless I can show them dozens of articles that say it harms children, yet they still hand them a phone. Thai mothers are not good mothers; they hand their children over to their grandparents so that they can play on the phone by themselves. It’s crazy.

Hello, I want to work as a foreign language teacher in Thailand, and for that, I need a bachelor’s degree, which I don’t have. I didn’t find many schools in Europe—almost none offer completely online studies. However, I discovered universities in the Philippines that offer fully online programs at very attractive prices, around 1000 euros per year. I’m wondering, if I graduate from such a university, won’t that be a problem in Thailand? Won’t the Thais expect, as a Westerner, that I have a university degree from Europe? Thank you for your opinions.

We have two children, aged 6 and 4. My wife lives with them in Thailand and lets them spend several hoursmaybe 5 to 6 a day on the phone. I keep arguing with her that it’s not healthy for the kids, but she keeps giving them the phones, probably just to get some peace and quiet. How is it for you?

Alright then, what do you think about the following? Il l get an online bachelor's degree and then start teaching. I have some savings, and I know I need to document 400 000 per year that won t be a problem. I ll spend three years in Thailand studying online. That sounds like a good plan. So as I understand 90% of members this forum are Teachers?

Hi everyone, 1. I would appreciate any advice on how to find a job in Thailand. What works best? I'm trying LinkedIn, and the JobDB portal is also good. Does anyone have any other tips on where to look for job openings for positions like Technical Field Advisor, Supervisor, or Field Manager in the energy sector? I'm specifically looking for roles related to the construction of large machinery—steam turbines, gas turbines, generators, and rotating equipment, where mechanical engineering knowledge is required. Thanks for any suggestions! 2. I often have to specify my expected annual salary in job applications. I usually state 600,000 Thai Baht, which is not too much by local standards. What salary should I realistically expect for this position?

Selling napkins in front of my house is not my dream job—it was just an idea to fill my time while job hunting. I strongly assume that finding a job in Thailand will take me much longer than in Europe. I just wanted to ask on the forum if this would be an issue from an immigration perspective. Of course, I want to have a proper job and continue working in the energy sector.
