  1. Yes, agree with that. Many thanks
  2. Hi All. Happy new year. My Airbnb rental finishes in a few days. The advert stated tenant would pay electric, which I'm happy to do. However when speaking to the apartment service manager recently they said we were not told you were paying electric and hence have not recorded the electric meter. Anticipating this hiccup upon checking out, whats the best thing to do? Many thanks.

  6. Hi All Question for the experienced users. I spent jan-sept 2024 in Thailand on an ed visa. I wish to return in December on a VOA; will this cause an issue with immigration? Many thanks in advance.
  7. Hi All, Ill be back in the UK shortly, and whilst there i would like to renew my British passport, even though its still got a couple of years to run (i have many entries to 1 particular country and i wish to go back into this country after visiting the UK and think a new passport would be a safer bet). I have recently obtained permanent residency in another country; does this change the process at all, do i need to get anything transferred in the new passport in the UK (i have been given a separate PR i.d card for the other country. Thanks in advance.
  8. Hi there, I'm be going to Bali for upto 6 months; as a tourist can i open a bank account? Many thanks,
  9. Im also looking at Bualuang to buy ETF's, but the fees seem very high indeed; did you search around for any other ETF providers? They all seem to be extortionate (compared to the west).
  10. Hi All, Any investors out there with some thoughts on the following? I have a brokerage account in the west where im used to (maybe spoilt) with very transaction & low management fees. I want to open a brokerage account here in thailand, and have looked at the funds, ETF's on offer from Bangkok bank, SCB, kasikorn; but the fees seem extortionate to say the least. Can anyone recommend a broker or bank that offers funds, ETF's e.t.c with competitive fees? Many thanks.
