  1. does anyone think it will get easier from 1st june?
  2. I noticed a thread where Phnom Pehn wants you to jump through hoops for a tourist visa, and if it's like a few years ago you'll only get one. Why do people not apply for tourist visa online through website? For example, if you're from UK you would apply online and it would go through London embassy. If you're not in UK I don't think Thai officials would know, if you had a home/residency in UK. And when they sent you electronic visa you could use it to enter Thailand. I'm sure there is a reason why it's impossible but just wondering.
  3. Thanks, I wasn't sure but what you're saying makes more sense. I might just want to see if restrictions get better from June.
  4. I've heard Safety Wing is reliable if the unfortunate happens, but I'm still not sure how it works. They basically say they'll pay $50 per day towards quarantine if a doctor/government says it's neccessary. So if I failed a PCR test (or day 5 rapid test) would I just say take me to a quarantine hotel (hopefully one close to $50 per day) and let them sort out the insurance with my provider? They also offer $250,000 cover so that bit is okay.
  5. Hello, I want to apply for a tourist visa (STV) online, but I have a quick question to make sure it's okay. I'm a UK resident, but I'm on holiday at the moment. It asks where you're residency/current address is, which is obviously 2 different places. When I enter my UK residency it says it will apply to UK Thai embassy, but if they can't confirm residency it could take a month to process. Shouldn't be a problem although I can't visit them. I just want to make sure if the UK Thai embassy processes my visa, I can still print it out and fly from the country I'm in at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated.
  6. Has anyone been in the position where they got a vaccine with only a few empty pages in their passport, so now they have a new passport(Passport number) that doesn't match the one on the certificate? Do you think carrying old passport with right number would be enough? Even if this doesn't affect people this year, I guess it might in 2022 if vaccine certificates are still required.
  7. Okay I will take the certificate to Thai embassy to ask when I have it.
  8. Thanks it's just so far away to embassy. I think the certificate looks like this:
  9. I think when the user (airline) scans QR code it gives information from Egyptian Health database. There is also an app available with info or coming very soon. Does Thailand accept these? It's the only documents thing I'm not sure about and don't want to be missing one thing.
  10. I'm in a country where you get a vaccine certificate with a QR code people have meant to scan with a phone. It will then show the details of the person's treatment on the country's health database. Does Thailand accept QR code vaccine certificates?
