Exactly the same situation I am facing, AZ-AZ, BHP, End of October 2nd shot. On the appointment slip AZ is already noted.
But of course I would like a Pfizer shot - especially because I have suffered quite some strong side effects after the first AZ shot. Maybe the 2nd AZ will floor me then. Anybody tried to change the second vaccine since the policy seem to have been changed anyway ?
I guess it is not possible to change just on the day they will want to administer the shot. Too complicated for them.
I am scheduled to get second AZ shot in October. Has anyone been able to change their second shot from AstraZeneca to Pfizer? Having had a first shot of AZ prior to October seems result in you getting banned from getting a Pfizer second shot. Anyone have any suggestions on how to arrange for a second Pfizer shot? People who suggest you wait until next year to get Pfizer booster shot probably have had 2 Pfizer shots already.

I used to have a non-O visa for years. Last year I returned to the US and had to reapply and get a non-OA visa to return to Thailand. I may return to the US before I have to renew the non-OA visa. Can I come back on a tourist visa and then apply for a non-O visa? I have trouble getting insurance and have had 800,000+ baht in the bank for several years. Is this plan workable or are there downside I am not aware of. I would prefer to avoid Visa agents unless absolutely necessary to stay in the country. I am not sure about canceling non-OA visa if I leave the country.

I had an AstraZeneca shot on July 23, 2021. I am scheduled to get a second AstraZeneca shot on October 15, 2021. Since I am booked to have AstraZeneca, am I ineligible to get Pfizer as a second shot? The prime minister of Canada and chancellor of Germany both had AstraZeneca first shots followed by mRNA seconds shots of vaccine. I assume they had good medical advice to mix the vaccines after getting the first AstraZeneca shot. Anyone have any idea who I can contact to see if having a first AstraZeneca prior to October precludes you from get a Pfizer second shot. I will reach out to Bumrungrad Hospital, where I got my first shot, to see if I can get the Pfizer as a second shot. Twice they have advised me I am ineligible for Pfizer second shot and must take AstraZeneca. I hope this new news on mixing AZ and Pfizer will allow them to give me the Pfizer as a second shot. My research on the internet leads me to believe that the mixing of vaccines gives a superior protection over two doses of AstraZeneca. I have another 6 weeks to see if there are any more studies on the AZ and Pfizer mixing of vaccines and their benefits and downsides.

I thought Moderna was to arrive in October. I also had a first AstraZeneca shot before they annouced the arrival of Pfizer. Everyone everywhere now refuses to give me a Pfizer second shot. I wonder if Moderna, which I paid for, arrives in October whether government will ban me from getting it as they seem committed to allowing only AstraZeneca as a second shot to non-important people. Doctors, nurses and other front line works can easily get Pfizer second shots or booster shots. Frustrating.

I had an AstraZeneca first shot. I am scheduled for a second shot on October 15 of AstraZeneca. I would prefer Pfizer. Any suggestions as how to get Pfizer as a second shot? It does not seem that you have much of a choice. Government mandated. Most all of my friends have had 2 shots of Pfizer.
