Hey everyone I've got some updated news for those travelling in October. 1st of October they are slashing quarantine down to 7 days for fully vaccinated travellers I assume that this is the same for Sandbox entrance you will probably need to stay there for 7 days and then travel onwards if you are. If your COEs have been rejected my embassy confirmed with me today to reapply on the 29th Sept. Hope this information helps anyone that was as stressed as I was.

Agreed - it doesn’t make sense to suspend issuing CoE’s if the measures are going to be relaxed.
If you meet the more stringent requirements, you would then meet the relaxed requirement - but logic does not come into these decisions very often.
I have re-entered Thailand 3 times using the CoE system (2x ASQ / 1x Sandbox) - the Embassies respond quickly and you still have plenty of time.
I wouldn’t spend that time worrying - just leave it a week or so and come back to it.
Thank you for responding I have been stressed as I've packed up my life into a suitcase. I'll give it a week and see how it goes

On September 22 at about 12 noon (eastern daylight saving time (Toronto Canada/NewYork USA)) I was able to enter the COE website and upload all pre-approval documents and received the 6 digit number at 12:55. On Sept. 23 morning, I went into the COE website with the 6 digit number and verified the pre-approval existed.
Luckily I haven't bought insurance, ASQ or a flight yet, but I was planning to do so in the next few days.
Trying to return to Thailand is like trying to hit a moving target.
Sounds like there is hope that the length of quarantine maybe reduced for fully vaccinated foreigners.
Hey thing is for me I'm entering via phuket sandbox so it shouldn't matter if they are changing quarantine requirements as I meet all the requirements to enter the sandbox. It doesn't make sense to suspend COEs while they revise measures but hey it's thailand haha.

Yes for October 1 from the Los Angeles Thai Consulate. I will have the joy of doing the full 15 day run in a hotel room in BKK.
Im going to try apply again over the next week otherwise looks like I'll be doing quarantine in BKK as well ????

Has anybody had a COE granted for entry in October here? Just trying to work out if its just certain embassies doing this?

The only ray of hope I can give you is they may be easing and dropping some requirements, as they are getting feedback that this convoluted process is driving most visitors away!
However, like everywhere, the virus has the final say.
Unfortunately, although they insist on emails and phone numbers, and that you provide personal details to a granular degree, they'll never reach out to you with any changes, you just have to use forums like this to pull all the threads together, good luck with it!
Fingers crossed I'm annoyed they gave me preapproval to book my flight if I had known I wouldn't of booked

Anyone have an idea what sort of proof would satisfy them?
Also, on part one, every time I applied the application never even went through to be considered. It got rejected because the software claimed I hadn't attached any documents to prove I had been vaccinated. Actually, I attached 3 documents. I also tried it with just one document, and that failed, too.
Hi you have to click the upload button after attaching documents the little up arrow otherwise it doesn't attach properly.

Any idea when they will lift the suspension my flight is booked for mid October:(

Hi is anyone else having issues with their COE I was partially approved then I went and booked my flight and accommodation. I did the second half of the application. Then I got rejected and the reason stated that they were waiting to hear clarity about the quarantine measures but I applied to enter via phuket sandbox so this doesn't make sense. Does anybody know what's going on?
