  1. Maybe development of new and better medication, and pushing boosters & mandates according to Fauci. Have a listen to what he says in this interview (start 6:10 on video) with NY Times. In summation, he stated: On Nov. 12, White House COVID adviser Anthony Fauci, MD, went on The New York Times’ podcast The Daily to discuss the current state of the coronavirus in the U.S. According to Fauci, officials are now starting to see some waning immunity against both infection and hospitalization several months after initial vaccination. The infectious disease expert pointed toward incoming data from Israel, which he noted tends to be about a month to a month and a half ahead of us in terms of the outbreak. “They are seeing a waning of immunity not only against infection but against hospitalization and to some extent death, which is starting to now involve all age groups. It isn’t just the elderly,” Fauci said. “It’s waning to the point that you’re seeing more and more people getting breakthrough infections, and more and more of those people who are getting breakthrough infections are winding up in the hospital.” As a result of these findings, Fauci warned that vaccinated people should get their booster shot, as it might actually be more important than health officials first realized. “If one looks back at this, one can say, do you know, it isn’t as if a booster is a bonus, but a booster might actually be an essential part of the primary regimen that people should have,” he said on The Daily. Fauci went on to say, “I think … that the boosting is gonna be an absolutely essential component of our response, not a bonus, not a luxury, but an absolute essential part of the program.”
  2. "Vaccines have been quite effective at preventing cases of COVID-19 that lead to severe illness and death, but none has proved reliable at blocking transmission of the virus, Jones noted. Recent evidence has also made clear that the immunity provided by vaccines can wane in a matter of months. The result is that even if vaccination were universal, the coronavirus would probably continue to spread."
  3. And this: 30 minute sauna voucher (establishment) to anyone getting vaccinated.
  4. It is available now at Samitivej hospital in Bangkok. A friend received moderna there yesterday.
  5. Yeah, the BNT162b2 effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 infection starts about 3 weeks after 2nd dose and declines to 20% in months 5 to 7, but protection against hospitalization and death persisted at a robust level for 6 months after the second dose. This was the results of a study conducted in Qatar from Jan to Sep 2021. So, all good, just need to keep your booster current after protection wanes. The 3% protection is for a single dose of J&J in an other study.
  6. BKK is 93% fully vaccinated, Chonburi, is 74.8% and Pattaya mayor claims 80% fully vaccinated there. Vaccines alone are NOT enough to prevent the spread of covid, and NPI is still the norm to push the R0 down. Don't believe for a second vaccination alone will save the day, unfortunately lock downs, quarantine, isolation is impossible now in many countries.
  7. Delta strain did not exist until June 2021 and are the CDC MMRW's peer reviewed, I think NOT.
  8. Similar situation in IE, high vaccination rates but they are getting sick too. https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-irelands-co-waterford-has-one-of-the-highest-vaccination-rates-in-the-world-so-why-are-cases-surging-12461642
  9. I would expect only or mostly vaccinated people to get infected as vaccination rates increase. At some point (99% vaccination), if its even possible to achieve, all infections will be in the vaccinated, and continue unabated unless new treatments and vaccines emerge that can stop or eliminate covid flu.
  10. The majority of new covid infections in the UK are occurring in the vaccinated now and the UK Health Security Agency published covid numbers continue to get worse there. Recently they have been under pressure to modify their reporting, (refer to enclosed link) being accused of publishing 'misleading' figures. Their weekly covid surveillance reporting data shows more vaccinated people compared to unvaxxed are getting infected. https://osr.statisticsauthority.gov.uk/correspondence/ed-humpherson-to-dr-jenny-harries-covid-19-vaccine-surveillance-statistics/ Most would prefer honest and factual covid reports and hopefully the UK Health Security Agency continues reporting reality.
  11. Vaccine mandates are being pushed now in the US. Where is all this going, only time and the courts will tell and decide this issue. These mandates are tied to OHSA and affect employers with more than 100 employees. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/06/world/americas/biden-osha-vaccine-mandate-blocked.html
