  1. Dear Macb

I though you are not allow to give a baby solid until they are 5-6 months old. My first one had her solid at five and a half months old. My second now 13 weeks only on her bottle. When I was in England. I went to see Thai-Issan lady in Ely. She fed her little girl with banana. The mid wife was so surprise and adviced her not to give the baby anymore banana. They can't digest food properly just yet !

  3. Dear Macb

    Congratulations !

My little girl,5 weeks old, sleeping in Air con everynight. I noticed that during the day she will sleep well if I have air con on as well. We always keep it on at 25-26c to keep her feel comfy. I think the nurse said keep it at 25c will be fine as we did. In England for my eldest daughter we kept it on at 22c indoor.

  4. In England we use plain flour +eggs+milk for Yorkshire pudding. Where can I get plain flour or what is it call in Thai? I have tried a few type of flour from supermaket with no success!

Really miss English meals and sunday roast very much !!!!!

  5. Has anyone been ripped off by the bar?

My husband has got done once on Friday night. What happen was....the girls will come over and say somethings in English with the bad accent that you hardly understand. He did say yes [ stupid him ] but when the bill came out it was 14 drinks in all that they asked for and help themselves for the drinks. Obviously he didn't have enough money so I had to go over and paid the bill for him. He did promise me not to go there or anywhere with the girls hanging outside again. That incident upset me and the baby I'm carrying a lot. I was his false that step in there at the first place even so he promised me not to go there before. In England where we used to live has no pub or bar like this so I never felt that I have to worry about it. I want to hear from the couple in bkk if you have any problem on your relationship since you moved here or how you manage if your husband wants to go out for a drink down Sukhumvit etc. ?/

P.S. My husband goes to Sukhumvit now and again but he only went to a good place most of the time. I have to give him that.

  6. Hi Mark and the wife.

I went over to live in Norwich for 5 years when I was 25. I had exactly the same problem. In my case it was Rosacea. I used to have some spots there and then when I was in bkk. Once I moved to England and the bad spots was alll over my face , red mark under my eyes [ doctor called it a butterfly ] it took more than 5 months to get better. I took a table [ Oxy ] from Gp and it helped. Here what I did to help myself. It might worth trying.

    1. do not wash your face to much. rinse with plain water twice a day [ if you don't wear make up ]and only use soap every other day or when you really need it.

    2. use a good products. I use Clinique products.. soap, moistur, make up etc.

if your skin seems to get better in summer or when it's warm and worse in winter. Im certain you have had the same problem with me. if you need to talk you can send a message to me.

    Good luck
