I know what you are talking about, as I had the same problem with my TV. I feel most average TV's are so-so. You pay for what you get. You can't expect a cheap TV to sound first class. So I went out and purchased me the latest new TV and soundbar to go with it. All I can say is, WOW.... The sound is more then perfect. I purchased a Samsung 75" Neo QLED 4K, wall mounted and a Samsung Q-Series Soundbar with two back speakers and a woofer (HW-Q990). The entire system is top of the line and set me back 90,000 baht. But in my eyes every baht spent was worth it. I am in heaven every time I watch TV or a movie now.
Some people would say what a waste of money l say money well spent if you enjoy quality all round. Good decision.

Well OK but from USA is a bit different -- I have tried it several times and not pleased with the results.
Maybe a Kilo or 2 in a $2 freezer bag in the suitcase. Admittedly it's only a 8 and a half hour flight. You guys have a long haul for sure.

Well OK but filling up my carry-on with 5-10 kilos of cheese is not top of my list as to what goes in my carryon for long international flights.
I once had to spend 3 days at LAX airport (one night literally in the terminal and 2 nights at nearby hotels courtesy of the airline) due to flight delays and cancellations and all I had -- as I had already checked in 2 large duffel bags -- was what was in my carryon.
Just some tips of what l do, Nobody has to do it. It works for me direct from Australia.

As with a post above, most hotel fridges would not hold 5-10 kilos of cheese.
I remember, once in USA 5 - 10 years ago, having the branded container of hummus I had just bought for a carry-on lunch confiscated by the TSA before a domestic flight.
The hotel l stay at has Bar fridge the most l got into it once was 10x1kg blocks

I have a flight change in the Middle East so would you recommend I pack it in my suitcase rather than hand luggage?
Forgot. Another way l have done it to save lugging cheese around is same thing with newspaper and fridges but also pack it in one of those $2 freezer bags and put in suitcase then wrap your clothes around it. Both ways work well.

Here's what l do. l wrap the cheese in newspaper leave it in the fridge for a couple of nights pack it in my carryon when l get to the hotel l put it in the room fridge next morning back in the carryon for next flight to Khon Kaen then driven to Kalasin and straight in home fridge. Always about 6KG of cheese and always still cold each time. Never freeze it. Australia to Kalasin.

I’ve never heard of that one, is it any good?
I take Anoro, one puff a day and Berodual as and when I feel I need it but I feel that neither are fully effective for me with some days I might as well not have taken anything. Ventolin I find has no effect on me at all when breathing becomes heavy and dare I bring up the subject of face masks which are very detrimental for me and make my breathing generally worse.
Sorry l took so long . Yes

Also have DTAC 15 Mbit/s, no volume limit, 1390 per year.
It does the job (when outside/on the road).
But next time I will look at the AIS options. DTAC coverage still has more blind spots.
True, no thanks
l use AIS

l remember in 2019 there was a lot of talk about new xray machines getting fitted in swampy airport to catch people bringing back lots of food (ie cheese etc) or other products ie (Coffee machine) then charge them whatever tax. Has that actually happened or just the same as always?

Strange question. Why would you leave yourself uninsured? Naturally you insure yourself for every single day you stay and live in a foreign country.
If you haven't got the answer please refrain from comments that are none of your business and no one cares what you think. And a side note read the question and think about it!!
