Well - could it be that a lot of the farangs here (Farang is not a bad word in Thai by the way) have a drinking problem and pick up their "wives" in the lady bars? It is a bad combination. At the same time they have a bad attitude as most heavy drinkers do. I don´t know if that was the case in this tragedy, but it is in most of the tragedies occuring here. I have lived with my lovely non-bargirl wife for ten years, and she is most supportive and only uses the knife to prepare the dinner! I don't experience bad vibes because I'm a farang, on the contrary. Next time you may want to try to find a normal girl and not a hooker and go easy on the booze. Just a suggestion. May solve some problems.

Well! What can you use a warning for anyway since you never know where a bomb will hit. And you cannot stay inside your home in fear all your life - for sure you aught to stay inside if you bear the statistics about traffic deaths in mind. That is scary reading and I am sure that most folks will know more people hurt or killed in traffic than people hit by bombs. I guess winning big time in lottery is still more easy than being hit by terrorists unless you actually live in the far South or in another terror striken outskirt.

I find it very disturbing to see violence at children prime time periods, women beating, and all the other things in the soaps ... it is certainly showing a roll model for the Thai kids ... even worse ... the whole idea of gigs, multiple girlfriends and this kind of stuff seems to be promoted by the soaps and is getting baked in into these already vulnerable kids/youngsters ...

and about money ... everything in the television is geared to marketing ... BUY ME BUY ME and the more expensive the more face ... no wonder the rate of suicide is going up in Thailand as the roll model cannot be achieved for 95% of the population ... a BMW 4wheel (5 000 000 baht), a house with swimming pool and 5 rai of land in the middle of BKK (30 000 000 baht) ... etc

I really don't know where this is going but for sure the winners will be the ones again with the money accumulating even more money
