I once saw a suggestion for the use of these submarines - as the seas flood into BKK, did tunnels under the city and use the subs as "bus" transport to different parts of the city.  can't think of any other use for the Thai Navy ships especially ones that go under water.  Just my opinion as Thailand will never be in any conflict where the military would have to use these to fight.  Maybe they need some more tourist tour attractions - even in the US they use some submarines for tourists - but usually free so that won;t happen here.

Can't they tie it up next to the aircraft carrier with no aircraft that can't leave port?

They can use it to store the helium they don't have for the blimps that don't fly.

Any unused space can be used to store the weapons for the F35 that the US won't deliver.

Yet the XMax has a published top speed of only 140kph?

    That's the advertised top speed.

I recall checking out cars in the used lot on Main Street in the early '80's, surprised that a corvette speedometer only went to 85 mph.

    Salesman explained government regulation requirement.

Stock could be +/- 10%.   And kids getting their bikes "tuned" can bump it up quite a bit.

not enough wheels for this old fart...only used a smaller one for cheap transportation - besides my daddy didn't raise this fool to that extreme!

    It's actually quite safe.

1/4-mile runs are done on a straight track.

All riders required to have bikes inspected and wear appropriate protective gear.

Even the guys running nitro fuel have to wear flak vests....in case.

A decent investigator could get a very close estimate of the speed based on the damage etc. Looking at what's left of the Fortuner's rear end, he was for sure travelling.

Those XMax and the like are ripe for tuning. Obviously I've no idea if that is the case here, but it's not difficult and not that expensive to make them go considerable quicker than stock. A friend of mine bought one a few months ago and spent another 150k to make it go "faster". Each to their own.

A good investigator could measure the tire marks left by the motorcycle attempting to stop quickly at 9:30 in the morning traveling at a very high rate of speed in the emergency stop lane.

    Oh, wait...........no skid marks?

    Only $113k :coffee1:

About the cost of our land, house (w/greenhouse garden). w/ solar system, and our EV.

Very nice, but some of us poor folks live in the real world.

Note to self:  don't put Champaign class on hood.

And that's the price in China. ...

"Nio ET9 start preorders for 112,800 USD, deliveries set to early 2025"

If you're on a budget, try the BYD Seagull for USD9,700 or the ever popular (amongst the poor) Wuling Mini EV at US$4,500.

    Happy motoring!

According to their findings, up to 44% of the soil is made up of organic compounds from fossil fuels, alongside minor traces of machinery smoke.

Did they stake a claim?  According to their results, Antarctica holds more fossil fuel than the entire Middle East.  And with a fuel/soil percentage 4x higher than oil shale!  They gon' be rich!

    Amazing Antarctica!
