Put 5 million away to retire on so you get it sent to you monthly , when u need it , 1 million on hand to live on and 3 Million to do my Deli in Bangkok or Pattaya , I lived here 28 years now and my food has a good reputation ! Phuket's downturn took out the Business in Patong Beach and Pattaya is slow also Tourist wise but not ex-pats , still many. I make my own Pastrami Corned Beef and Knishes...plus many other deli foods and a line of pickled products and a Frozen Food Line...but that's selfish , just retire and send yourself a budget to live on , and get yourself Insurance for any illnesses that might occur , so you don't get wiped out by Hospitalization or we get a shophouse or house that can live and work ! How old are you ?
Just saw last post on not wanting to do a bar , hotel or restaurant , so try the frozen food biz from your home , no need to start it up here for 200,000 to 500,000Baht depending on different ideas of what exactly u make and its not working as the head cook does the work .
We had the frozen foods and pickle business in 1 location and did ok for out of our room.
We sold alot of Pickles to restaurants too!

I got to go with the Checks Pilsner Urquell with Germany in a close 2nd ! The 1 st Pilsner Urquell I tasted was on a German Merchant Ship in Norfolk, Va. I mean if the German ship's Captain is buying it , I thought I'd at least give it a Taste : a few six packs later I took the Captain out for Dinner and he gave me a case !
But I will admit that in 1978 I tried Heineken in a Brown Bottle for the first time ever in Amsterdam and compared to the nasty stuff in Green bottles elsewhere , I was amazed at how good it was and I had always enjoyed Grolsch from Holland previously !
But I am sure at certain times and places , the beer you had in front of you on one really hot day , were you've worked up quite a thirst , that almost any descent beer tasted like the best Beer you ever tasted in your life !

Such a shame that the beauty of a Woman's Breasts are so exploited as to be considered something Immoral !
By making a Big Deal out of the few Exhibitionists , who always Love to expose themselves , like the Ritual called Streaking during Sports Events or Public gatherings , to the Show me your Breasts not sure if T**s would be ok here , in NEW ORLEANS Mardi Gras to RIO de Janeiro's Carnivale bare butts & breasts Dancers ! We live in such a hypocritical world ! , Our Creator did not send us into this world wearing anything but our Birthday Suits , but as some of our Populace aged , someone decided that The Creator's Creations of Human beings , needed to be covered up to Protect us from its Beauty or Ugliness ! When the only things clothing had really been created for , was protection against the elements of Mother Nature !

Even a Plane hitting a Air Pocket and dropping , like when Elevators stop abruptly as they slow down,
Is usually enuff to send more then a FEW Passengers up-chucking or screamin' !
Also , a news article picture of the Plane is what most planes Chinese Tourists Flights look-like ,
after they fly anyways , so how are we suppose to tell the difference ?

I lost a friend of over 10 +++ years , cause I asked him why he hates Obama and asked him for reasoning . he cursed me called me a few names and considering he isn't even a American and lives in Vegas and swears racism has not a thing to do with why he is so disliked , except that Obama and his cronies are the racists.....but this pipeline has no value to the USA that i hear tell about , its all Canadian oil that they will make money selling but endangering our environment , Republicans are for it because Big oil is one of their big donation contributors to the GOPs and the Democrats who are for it are on Big Oil payrolls too. I just realized that maybe I was being cursed by my ex-friend cause he hates liberals , which I tend to be , in a Conservative point of view too. I believe in Voting for the best candidate , I think Obama is being foolish not decriminalizing Pot and at least allowing or getting it out of the Category 1 , No Medicinal value category ! Which is a big lie told by the federal Agents who back when Prohibition was being repealed made up the REEFER MADNESS - BS - on weed to keep their jobs , get kickbacks from oil & plastics , Booze distributors & Big Pharma came on board bribing to keep it illegal with bribes to even make hemp illegal , except when needed in WW 2 , Farmers were asked to grow it....
Even cartels kick-in to crooked Politicians to keep it illegal , so they lie about the demon Weed !
I think there is one truth in all this , and that all Politicians are becoming or have become as crooked as they can get away with , so what good does this pipeline do for America , very few jobs for USA.....I also deduced just as many GOP members my friend was a bully too , cause he's positive Obama is the Anti-Christ and was born in Kenya......of course he is a 1% member as all those who want this pipeline are ! Obamacare even with the better reports on it as of late , is still the worst thing ever. So I guess it has nothing to do with TRUTH anymore but who can yell the loudest and get the Media to report their story as the God's honest Truth in the matter ! Especially FuX Newsless , the Media Company that when Republicans Lie to America , Fux Newsless Swears to it !

I've known that since I first returned here in 1985 hoe wonderful a place to retire it was Now if The USA government would only allow its Senior Citizens to be able to use their Medicare in Thailand after they hit 65 , at least the Veteran population , for the reasoning of , if they can send you to a Foreign land to die in a dumb-fracking WAR , you should be able to live and receive your Health benefits in any Country that a Veteran finds affordable to live his Senior years in ! As long as they are in good diplomatic relations with the USA and , they can set up Hospitals and Doctors that they deem acceptable , w/o getting too deep into RED TAPE issues or BS to put it truly !

If you want to clog up and get allot of risky downloads u torrent stuff is ok , but i told you tube 3x now that no one minds a 10-20 sec commercial , but They let infomercials of 3-4 minutes and whole songs play ! Thats BS , but its free , I watch movies and ads have not interrupted and my playlists sometimes ads come on other times they don't I have sites that have tv shows i listed on that Post , this was for Movies on YT here's another...Mel Brooks.....

Well I have had it both ways and when i left America , if I had been rich I don't think she would have left but that's life , hit and miss . my first Thai wife danced one night and I saved her , she now lives in USA and is happy , after we split up for normal reasons , we are still friends and she mailed me diabetic slippers for Christmas but wrong size , so anyone need a pair of
12 1/2 - 13 US size lovely slippers 1000B , and she spent 45$ on shipping , plus about 30$ on slippers ! She had after we split married a guy i knew in Oil worker , saved her life paid for her kidney transplant....all true , left his cheating ass and visited me with her latest a few years back and married him this year , I like him seems like a good guy even tho he turned her into a San Francisco Giants baseball fan , LOL As ex- NY team Like the LA Dodgers I hate both these deserter teams !
Ok , now my 2nd & 3rd were only for short spans , but when I met my Lady Flower , all my friends could not believe how lucky I was , a true Pure hearted person , 15 years later we hopefully will get married next year....and its almost that in 3 1/2 hrs ! Matter fact , we owe her Mom about 70,000 B from our business we closed in Phuket , not because food wasn't good , just no support like use to be in Patong...part why I left , remember I can prove everything I write , cause I know some Schmuck is thinking , Nobody can be this lucky ! I almost agree , but she is going home to get some more money , until my VA Benefit starts and its been 10 months tomorrow but that's another story , why its taking so long ! I had met Flower as she had just left being a caregiver for an old Chinese-Thai woman who died , she is my caregiver now and People who meet her just are amazed how kind a person she is , and to put up with a man whose all wives or GFs before Thai or American,
were Bi--sexual , I have gone from the Hot & nasty kind of women to the Angelic , It's boring , but it is what it is when you really know you are truly loved for nothing else but you ! I use to have a saying about why i have had so many relationships and it was true , I took little girls ( They were all over 21) turned them into Women and they realized they needed to go out into the World and find what else there is ! Don't laugh but I am still in touch with all of my exs in USA and occasionally a old Thai friend will re-appear but none since leaving Phuket after 22 years there. As a Go-Go Bar Manager and Chef in Thailand since 1988 and coming here since 1985, I have seen it all ! I do not care what anybody thinks especially Whiskey Tangos who look down on Men Or Women for their behavior of going with younger Ladies or Men here . I see both sides get screwed over by the other ! It's like this Folks , its all the same all over the World except for some Cultural stuff , but only 2 types of humans on this planet, other then Sex of Male & Female , even the gay & lady boys are still M or F with different feelings and hormones raging in them , and a few with both sex organs ! It is either Good People or Bad People ! That's all its a matter of , not nationality , over the years they've put us all down like bad mouthing Russians now , it was Germans , Japanese , Canadians , The Swiss the Swedish , The Norwegians , The Dutch , The Aussies , The Brits , The Euros , and lets not forget The Americans who helped it all with our stupid fracking WAR in SEA ! I've met good & bad from every place , and that is the plain and simple truth of the matter !
I should speak Thai perfectly or real good after almost 30 yrs. but i don't but my ex and present ladies , speak pretty good English , which has been a big help to me and many of my friends or people we meet ! Flower gets asked questions by people all the time when they see her shopping at Supermarkets and see her purchases ,I tell her they are hitting on her but she says no , just curious & nosy I eat nothing but my cooking or American or Mexican or Italian or French or English pub Foods at restaurants in Thailand over the years, only if no choice do I eat fried rice dishes at a Thai place and a few other dishes but I don't eat fish only shrimp & lobster and Tuna in a can with mayo , I love Chinese American but its more Chinese - Chinese style here , the Brit Chinese is not the same as San Francisco or NYC Chinese American like Moo Shu Pork , Egg Rolls not Spring Rolls , Sweet & Sour Pork....forget Chop suey & Chow mein or American fried Rice lol ! I tell Flower she should start a shopping biz for people who hate to shop and can afford to pay someone else to do it right , which she has learned to do....she even gets mad and frustrated with Thai staff in Supermarkets who have no idea about anything on their shelves or where anything is , just like we do !!
