  1. This topic is irrelavant.

Do not ask opinion from other people about beauty. It is relative you know. For every man thinks, no, knows that his wife is a beauty. And you might think she is not.

I suggest you go for a round-about Thailand and find your piece of soul, or settle yourself in a little corner in Issan and she will come in your way, eventualy.

And all of you here, there is no such thing as generalizing beauty of women worldwide. Your neighbour can be beautiful, your sister, your mother and it can be so in every village, town, city, country....therefore stupidity is a priority for everyone here....

  2. And what has prostitution to do with anything? Prostitution is a job. A necessitiy, to make a living. In order to pay everything you need in life. Thailand has prostitution, thats a fact and it is a completely different thing, simply a job...even somewhat respected in some parts of the country as I have heard. That is becuase, well, it brings a lot of money. Its a choice they make, or are forced by their families. Plain and simple. And when the premier will open this topic, then you can make statements about that.

Free sex is different. And yes, the West HAS affected Thailand.

There, wikipedia is the source of facts:

Prostitution has existed in Thailand for a long time. As early as the 16th and 17th centuries, prostitution was described in reports by sailors visiting Thailand (then called Siam).

Now think, was the youth of Thailand that much freelance about sex in 16 centuray? I don't think so, since they were only dependant on their families, and had no tv, radio, and other modern rubbish. Girls had the word of their mothers!

You guys here really cannot think properly. I mean....dooh, you all lost your virginity at the age of 14, right? :o Well bravo to you all, great masters of love making :D I bow to all of you.

You dont get it do you. Today's youth is nuts. I see little girls here at the age of 4 wearing thongs, at the age of 11 wearing make-up and at the age of 13 having continuous sex. And not normal sex, but completely numb, without feelings and some random guys they meet in parties. That is sick. I just heard, that a girl, here at the age of 16 was doing three men in a party(on the goddamn dancefloor) , then joined them into woods, guess what followed.

Youth around the world, has no culture, no appretiation, no respect towards themselves. To have sex as soon girls have their first period, is becoming a standard. If you haven't had sex from the age of 14-17, you are simply an outlaw, a freak towards the rest of your lot. Ofcourse, not to mention, the fact that it is done by some random guys. :D

Ah, don't even know why I bother...who from you lot will get it anyway?

I completely agree that the PM, chose this topic and spoke of that...someone finally did. :D Why wouldn't he?

    :D

  3. I found this forum when I was doing some research about how western women think.

That gets me curious... :D ...and have you found anything interesting, worth mentioning? Are we alike Thai women or are we just our own breed?

And yes, I have read that Thai women are either prio or wan. sweet or sour. And apparently, men in Thailand, like prio better than wan...wich is sometimes credited as virgin/whore thing...

Ofcourse prio/wan differs on individual again, but generalizing I guess, most Thais like sweet...as you Macx have said...

P.S.: I like all of your answers...it's interesting reading different points of view...

    tnx :o

  4. The question would be:

Why would you specifically looking for a Thai guy? And is your sole purpose of coming to Thailand to search for this elusive Thai bloke?

Oh, no... :o I am not looking for a Thai guy, nor any guy for that matter... I hope you didn't misunderstood me...I simply wanted to know what to expect....what are they like, for I've never been in any exotic country, nor have I actually met asian people...really, becuase they are none in my country...except for one in a hundred and there's 2.000.000 of us...( if I exclude chinese who own chinese restaurants here...)

Lol...my sole purpose...lol.... :D No, gosh...I'll be off, to teach and broaden my horizons.

  5. Today, I read in a newspaper, that a Buddhist monk in Bangkok had an erection during his meditating, therefore in his shame, he had cut off his penis. Apparently the other monks helped him, while he was bleeding, and also tried to save his limb, so it could be sewd on by doctors, but he said no, he wouldn't want to yield the temptation again.

I feel really sad, about this, I have pity for him, I'm overcomed with emphaty... :o

But by cutting it off...well, that was not the ideal solution. Actually, it was, for him physically, but that was the easiest way imagined. I mean, shouldn't he settle his ways in his mind? Instead off cutting it off...

I guess he was desperate in shame, and did it without thinking twice... :D

    :D

  6. OP, you did not mention where you are from? Don't know whether it'll have anything to do with replies you get, but it might sure help. :D

Where I am from? I am from Europe, Slovenia... if the question in for me...Its just that the men over here are typical for their breed. :o That acutally goes for both, men and women...you could actually look at a person and imediately found out what is he/she like. I am serious. If you live here long enough it simply becomes an every day trivial observation.... :D

  7. Ah, thank you very much for your answers.... :D

I read your statemenst with great interest... :D Am also happy with your answers. Yes, yes I know i might sound I know everything, and i should say I know nothing indeed, wich is true considering Thailand, that's why I wanted to hear something from you, the original source.... :D

Well, I guess I understand your point of view, but as I've said before, once there is an interaction with Thai men, as an individual, I'll know soon enough what to expect....

Thx, want to hear more.... :o

  8. Sawatdee Kha! :D

Let me say hello to you ladies first, for I am new here...greenhorn, newbie, freshman...whatever you want to call it... :D This also includes a matter of love... :o

Yes, I am 20. The exact age. 20. When I come to Thailand (have made plans, everything is in process...), I will be 21. Yup.

What I am interested in is Thai men, this is just one of many other things... :D Now, I now, in an overall most things depend on each countrys culture and their way of life, but when it comes to individuals, lots of things change or can change, simply becuase everything depends on the individuals character, their desires, whishes, habbits, and ways of life. Therefore I am not asking you for advice, to tell me what should I do and do not, how to act and similar, I know the facts already. :D I just wish to know how you feel and think towards my topic, I wish to hear your minds.

I am coming to Thailand, and am simply said planning to slowly start my life there. But I am a girl, 20 years old, as you've noticed before, with not much experience with men and am asking you simply: What are Thai men like?

Do they bother you? Do they just come to you and start talking? Are they like farangs with those cheap phrases, like: Oh, hello, where are you off to? Can I join....jadajadajada? Do they like to make eye contact? Do they show emotions? Do they touch you(your hands, or some sort of conformation they actually like you) if they were formerly monks? Would they even look at you if they saw you with a cigarette in your mouth? Do they like your silent look, when you are thinking something? Or do they prefer you smiling all the time? I have one question, kinda, ammm.... :D , well....?weird??sacred?....heh....how do Thai guys see your....innocence? :D Do they see you as a weirdo, like in Europian countries?

What are the typical or non-typical characteristics of Thai men?

I know I should sound funny and naive to most or some of you, but know this, I only wish to hear something, some piece of your mind, from you, who have been or are living in Thailand. I am not here to follow your thoughts like ten sufficient steps how to gain a guy ( I could read that in Cosmopolitan ), but only to hear your experiences. :D

I hope my post won't bother you, and will be happy for some replys... :D

  9. Hello everyone!

I am new here, firstly I would like to greet everyone properly.... :D , sooo, Sawatdee Kaa :D to you all...

Now, in haven't found anywhere else to post this topic, therefore am writing it here. If it's supposed to be moved then.... :o

I am 20years old, form Europe, and will be going to Thailand, first to work as a voluenteer, teaching Thai children English for two months...or three...What's next is:

I have firmly made a decision to stay in Thailand and get a degree in english to, in the end, get a job as an english teacher ofcourse. Please do not try to advise me to think about it again, becuase my decision if firm and it is based on my strong respect towards Thais and their culture. I feel I need to go there and do my small deed as a teacher of english.

What I wish to know is....is it a good idea to study in Thailand? Do they have good courses? Do they take foreniers as their students? Would is it be better if I go to UK and get a degree there for example? Is there anybody here with such experiences? Can anyone give me some advice?

Do not ask me why do I not get it here in my own country...I know why :D cause' simply saying everyone here are pricks. :D Including schooling system....that is the worst part.

Also I am modest, I am alone (will be), am full off respect (can't say that for people around me) very adjustable therefore won't have lots of troubles....and am just seeking a simple, happy, interesting....

    Tnx very much,

    TS
