  1. We'd be funding all of this trip, so being a sponsor as such.......
  2. Hi Guys Sorry if this has been answered before, done bit of a search but nothing coming up straight away. Been about 20 years since last had the fun task of sorting a uk visa ! My wife wants to bring here sister here for a hols. Hopefully it's simple enough to sort out. Could anyone point me in right direction please with any www.links to the step by step process of what I need to do to sort this? Looked on Gov.uk but need in layman's terms really, may be someone that has done one before could advise please. Sister in law's command of English is very minimal, so thinking it would be down to me to sort/ fill in application here in uk (can I do it that way ?) She is based in Surin. Sorted her Thai passport few months ago which is a good stating point. Thank you ???? Simon & Su
  3. I dont personally, it's my (Thai) wife's sister - they chat between themselves ????
  4. Thanks Guys... like you say she could tag along with rest of the crowd probably be fine, I'm just over thinking it (as usual) ! Heathrow 'arrive & assist' looks very good though at around £125(?) - probably go for that if is this service is still running then for that extra bit of piece of mind ????
  5. Hi Guys Just after bit of advice if poss please..... Su's sister wants to come to visit us in the UK next year. (been about 20 years since done all the visa stuff - be more question on that to come I'm sure ????) She' s a Thai national but has no understanding of English (written or spoken.) Hopefully she'll get the visit visa ok, if so ideally want her to travel Thailand ---> Uk leg alone. Would be direct flight/ Thai or Eva, but it's how she would deal with the airport and all that goes with it on arrival in the UK ! Do any airlines or Heathrow offer any assistant/ escorting service for this right through to arrivals ? Happy to pay whatever it is. Return leg back to Thailand ok, Su will be going with her. Thanks very much Sy
  6. Thanks all, do appreciate your replies... couple of ones there that did give me a good old giggle also ????
  7. Hi there... Just seeing if anyone could recommend the best place for cosmetic 'facial' surgery, assuming most places would be around BKK ? Looked at Yanhee but there seems to be a lot of mixed reviews. Thank you Sy & Su
  8. It's Falang husband asking for my Thai wife ???? Su's (my wife) not so good at paperwork, documents, googling - thats my job
  9. Thats great thanks for the advice - cheers Sy ????
  10. Hi Guys Just seeing how we go about changing the name in my wife's passport / what documents needed etc. Currently in Thai maiden name and want to change it so matches her UK passport married name. Is it something she can do when out there or easier at Thai embassy London (bit of a drive though) ? Thanks Sy
  11. All sorted..... really easy actually don't know what I was worrying about! Approved within 12 hours. Our hotel confirmation letter didn't show about the ATK self test kit ????
  12. 'Rings a bell' ... Flip, was that you then ?
