Then there's this...
Chronic pot smokers never amount to anything in life. How can you function at the best of your capacity while high af?
The old psa about living in the parents basement very true.
The only productive people I've ever met who were habitual smokers were growers.
I recon you need to get out of your cave and meet more people then.
What an completely stupid and closed minded thing to say.
And the 'old psa' about living in parents basement is just as stupid. That is purely an American thing, and I think has a lot of (American) urban myth attached to it.

I'm not from Oz, where binge-drinking is the norm... ????
I would like to suggest binge drinking occurs in many country's. No need to point the bone at Oz mate.
And seeing as you state you are not from Oz, what makes you qualified to say it is the norm there.

Riding the BTS the few stops I needed daily without cringey farang tourists wearing ratty t-shirts, short shorts, singlets, dark glasses (soooo cool) and rubber flip flops. Now, add flashpackers looking to score illegal weed at 500b gram which is over 14000 an ounce.
Perfect for Thong Lor cops. Another money making opportunity.
Far, far better to reduce taxes on wine and spirits. Weed addicts are worthless.
Nothing wrong with wearing shades (unless it's night time) ????
And most of the time it has nothing to do with 'looking cool'. it's duta, due to the fact the sun is bright.

Why do people keep posting about American prices, which has absolutely no bearing on this thread. You can rattle off as many US (and various other country's) prices as you like, it will not change prices here.
This is Thailand =Thailand prices.

At the same time, another, thirsty foreigner, all grown-up and also in Bangkok, couldn't buy a bottle of a golden-coloured liquid, let's simply call it "beer", because it was only 4:30 in the afternoon... Amazing Thailand! ????
Cool, one less potential drunk on the roads (until 4:30)

Trousers , too hot for Thailand ; I wear always shorts and T-shirts, except for my embassy and immigration
I have found T-shirts ( from Lazada, made in China ) excellent for this climate ( I bought 15 of them )
Anything 'microfiber' = quick dry stuff is good for this climate.

One may have had an undiagnosed heart condition; however, as such, and with no previous issue causing him to seek medical attention, the cause of death being inhalation of excessive amounts of THC was listed as causing cardiac arrest.
But it doesn't matter, previous health aside, if someone Ingests or inhales something, bringing about death, the cause of death still is the ingestion or inhalation of said substance.
Having worked in an Emergency Room, I know that as much as people love to argue that cannibas is harmless, the medical evidence does not back it up. I've seen people in restraints from cannibas-use induced paranoi and psychosis. I personally know a friend who after smoking a high quality strain of Kush, got severe paranoia and ran out into traffic in fear of the "things chasing him. Luckily he did not die. And no other substances were found on his tox screen.
Seen and heard of many many more of the same things happen to people with alcohol induced symptoms. And more often than not, to their (or someone else's) demise.
Cannabis, alcohol, there are certain types of people who should never ever touch either substance.

OMG, two people. Shock, horror. How many more must die before this killer drug is eliminated ????
Considering that quite literary hundreds of thousands of people have and still do partake of 420, every single day, the above post is a moot point.

I think I could dispose of my 'prescribed cannabis' in less than 30 days. Just saying. ????

Come on stop being a big Wagga.
could be any number of legitimate reasons she felt bad.
All may have nothing to do with ganja
Correct, and I made no mention of it being any particular reason she 'might' have felt crook, just IMO, the report that it was caused by 420 is BS. But as was previously pointed out, it 'may' have been something (nasty) that tiny, tiny piece of grass had been subject to before being included in her very expensive soup. Doubt it though.
I still say it is BS to try and stir up trouble.

It is more than likely the pesticides/chemicals used on the leaves to keep bugs off of the plants as they grew and from inside the leave from the products used in the soil that are taken up by the inspiration of water into the leaves from the stems.
True, or someone offered her an amount of baht to cause some contention. I think we will see a lot of this sort of thing now. Scammers

I've had the experience of getting a good driver in Bangkok and getting his phone number and tipping him up so he responds. One time, he took me out to an amulet market out in the burbs. We took a holy man out to Burger King.
In Mexico, you have to be careful that your new best friend driver doesn't become your burglar up the road. Which is my second question: how do you vet people? How do you hide your wealth? How much notice does a 170K person draw from the locals? Should I downgrade to a 30K apartment to avoid problems?
** "How do you hide your wealth?"
Stop mouthing off about it on a public forum for a start will help.

I bought weed from Candyland, and it's the real thing. One hit can last me a couple hours.
I speak as a former 20-year pothead.
But Candyland does not sell smoking pipes.
Does anyone know a store in Pattaya that sells smoking pipes?
Maybe even a tobacco products store? (wood pipes or glass pipes, doesn't matter)
Easy enough to make ya own

I read a story in Qld. A mate had a mate do a tattoo. They had a falling out before but still went ahead with tattoo. He did a large penis on his back. He took him to court won damages.
Jeeeez, how stupid would you have to be to get ink done by someone ya had a blue with previously. Unreal. Guy deserves the tat he got on his back for being a d!ck head. Damages pay out 'may' just cover the price for a cover up tat done (with a mate? watching the ink man/woman work).

Maybe, just maybe there is the off chance there was a passenger filming the other car. I know that's an absolutely outrageous possibility but hey, who knows, stranger things have happened.
Such a positive vibe in Bangkok as tourists, Thai sellers, locals and even a Thong Lo cop celebrate the end of ganja prohibition!

The words 'drinking culture' in no way imply's binge drinking. It just means they drink a tad more beer, nothing about binge drinking.
