  1. When these scofflaws are brazenly working the streets its sends a clear message... the law is loose. It is an open invitation for other deadbeats and scum to test the waters.

How can anyone be defending this depraved grifter, he is a natural born loser. A roaming predator engorging himself on life's excesses without regard for tomorrow. He hustles and cons his fellow man to support the most worthless and perverted of pleasures. Shame on you.

  2. I had a similar problem wit ATM machine, the ATM did not give me money but it was deducted from my account. I contacted my bank and made a formal complaint, they opened an investigation and the money was returned within 2 weeks.

Talk with your bank. Calmly explain what happened, and ask how you can be refunded.

  3. I would be reluctant to buy mace from a street vendor. You want to be confident the stuff works. On the other hand the vendors mace could be lethal... if you blind some pervert with under the counter mace the law might go hard on you. You should check out a gun shop, I saw a bunch of gun shops close to Chinatown, they would probably carry pepper spray, or know where it is sold.

  4. You could end up getting warned as well this goes on record and immigration could be informed and thats your visits to LOS knocked on the head.

Is there a law against asking about self defense? You need to read my post again. I can't hold my Pop?... that is funny stuff, i'm going to steal that one :o

This seems to be an issue which has touched a few nerves on the MB. I am actually considering calling up tourist police or my embassy to get the answers. There was some sound advice and a few amusing antedotes, most of the replies have not been informative.

I'm sure in Thailand as back home ignorance of the law is no excuse, so we are supposed to know the law, but where can we look it up? Show me the book i'll read it.

  5. Nipple biting? that has got to hurt... LOL

I will not debate the merits of Judo online. Yes, it is advisable to avoid physical confrontations with stangers. It is true a lot of things can happen in a fight.

I would like to know about the laws in Thailand.

  6. What are the laws on self defense in Thailand? At what point am I allowed to use physical force? What happens at police station after two farangs fight?

I trained in judo. How does the law react to choke holds and arm locks? Is a choke considered deadly force?

  7. I want to open an export business and obtain a business visa?

How much money do I need to officially open business in Thailand and get a business visa? A ballpark figure is fine.

    1. How much does it cost to register a compnay and change tourist visa to business visa.

    2. How much money will the Thai govt want to see on the books? do I need to deposit any money in bank account?

No work permit is needed, my assistant will do all the labour. I have 1 Thai person who can be trusted for a partner... so long as they don't have access to my bank accounts :o

    thanks in advance!
