I've been on 6 continents and around (lost count) 120 countries. I've lived in 8 countries for an extended period....meaning 2 years or more. 65 million seems pretty optimistic considering they seem to think they must have various schemes to get tourists (high quality only, at that) to come here. And then, there's the state of things in the world, which would lead anyone with an intact cortex to stave off spending right now.... I've been here only a short time but it seems that these idiots say a lot more than they do.

What kind of drugs do these morons take to come up with this daily idiocy? I retired in 1999 and have lived on 4 continents and in more than a handful of locales where tourism was a significant source of income. I was on expat forums in each. Never have I read such nonsensical drivel until coming here.

Some how, tourists go to other world destinations without having to be bribed by campaigns and schemes....maybe because they aren't insulted first. I lived in South and Central America and Mexico for many years. Never once heard the word Gringo. Never once had to pay more for anything than a local did. Never once was told if I wasn't happy with service or product, that I could leave. Come to think of it, never been called gaijin in Japan, or had to pay....well, you get the point.

I wish I could help, recently went through the same thing. I have heard there are two possibilities: 1. On Koh Chang, there is an American named Lisa who has a clinic and has helped with such in the past 2. In Rayong, there used to be a vet clinic with 3 younger partners who, in some cases, would euthanize. Don't know the name of the clinic, but they are just northeast of the Home Pro, a few blocks off the main road.

I load up free kee all the time, from cows and elephants, and pile it in the back forty. Black gold. Amazes me most don't bag their poop and sell it. Makes me wonder where the bags at the garden shops that read, Cow Manure, come from....maybe the big farms? Suggest you compost it; pile it high, keep it moist (it's rainy season, so...) and bag it in about 3-4 months (dried out). You could make a $hitlo@d of money ????

Yep, years ago. Disputed it with Visa and was refunded 100%. I never use any of those sites. I go direct or not at all. Had a buddy who ran a small hospitality business. Had rave reviews. One day the "site" called and offered an upgrade for a yearly fee. He declined politely. The caller insinuated, in so many words, that his reviews would soon be a problem. (I don't remember the exact threat, it was a few years ago.) Sure enough, most of his 5-stars vanished, and all manner of 1 and 2-stars appeared in coming weeks. None of which could possibly have patronized his place. Evil.

At my office, the test changes each time you take it. Apparently, there are numerous ways to translate the Thai into English, so the possibilities are endless, and all wrong.

I learned the person who translated my test from Thai to English is the sign maker next door to the license office:
