Looking for advice from guys who have done the following:- Looking to drive to Hue across friendship bridge 2 into Savannakhet and east across Dansavanh border crossing. Either car or bike, haven't decided yet, but will probably be based on ease. Both vehicles registered in wifes name. Have both UK and Thai license. Cheers.

Does all this have to be done weeks or months before or could I just register and do it on final day for example?

Thanks. Not being funny or anything but, genuinely, where does it state that or how would I know its official? I am one to question everything and not the first to jump on anything blindly. Just the way I am. The officers are really nice actually but just very vague and nonchalant.

Can anyone enlighten me on how these 90 day check-ins online work? When I went to pick-up my 1 year visa extension recently and I asked the officer she said just go online and do it. When I asked for the website, she just said, "google it"! Ha. I take it, it may be this site https://www.immigration.go.th/en/. But when I select English everything is still in thai. Anyone explain how it works and what I need to do? Cheers.

Hoping for some input with this. I signed up for an ebay account to sell a few things thinking it would be straight forward. But it seems that there isn't a site specific to Thailand. Everything appears to be in USD and when I sell it seems you're also paid in USD. Why on earth would I want paying in USD when I'm in Thailand?! All a bit odd. So my question is, can I sell on ebay.com in Thailand and get paid in thai baht, as their customer service team behave like politicians when they try to answer what are simple questions!

Right. I thought you might have known of a product or bank. Same as UK. They drag their heels or never pass it on at all. Is the official rate of inflation 8% here? But more than likely much, much, more in actuality.

What are you on about and where you getting this info. from? Seems like more conflicting info. to me. Nothing worse than copy and paste merchants who dont even bother to read. Thailand is really bad for art supplies also. Cant find anywhere online were you can buy decent stuff. Its a joke!
