  1. I won't have a choice on that front unfortunately. I dont know any decent framers locally either. I went to a few places to ask about archival framing. I may as well have been a Martian asking for directions home. Do you know any good places? In fact this is a big concern for me really and think that a lot of the collection will be sold off due to AC, humidity, sunshine, monsoons etc etc . A real shame!
  2. Thanks. Worse than the UK! Where do simplyduty get their info. from and is it accurate?
  3. Sure. Its a print. Value £4k. Thanks.
  4. Art, obviously. From the UK.
  5. Thanks. Ive used a lot of these sites already. A lot of them look very unsafe and dodgy if Im honest. I have also read through pages of Thai customs info and found nothing in the way of a percentage like most countries have. Where are these sites getting their info. from because it differs across the board? Why is nothing ever straight forward when it comes to this stuff here?!
  6. Thanks. But pinned what where? af ghe? Your reply doesn't help me much. Can you please explain?
  7. I cant believe I missed this. I definitely would have made the long drive for this. Although, Im probably now looking more towards the 300L as it will be mostly technical stuff and a bit of green laning where I am.
  8. Hi Is anyone aware of import duties and relevant taxes on art imported into Thailand? TIA
  9. Sure. No problem. Wait for my next harvest and I will show you quality Sensi!
  10. There seems to be a big lack of knowledge when it comes to quality cannabis thus far. But its a step in the right direction at least and Im sure things will improve.
  11. This looks like very ratty bush indeed. Theres no buds and I can see seeds. Very bad. I would not smoke that!
  12. Then I suggest you re-read. Its pretty obvious.
  13. I was referring to tax consultants. Recommendations. No one has clarified exactly with the utmost certainty. No official links etc and it is a public forum so. Who are you anyway, the ultimate authority on the matter?! Hardly. From your few contradictory posts here it shows that you don't have a clue so wind your neck in!
  14. No. I am not working nor have any business here. As Ive said already the property was not eligible for CGT! So, I have no idea where you're getting that idea from.
  15. Fair point. I will do just that anyway no doubt. Any recommendations anyone?
  16. Tax relief? You dont pay CGT on sale of your own home when its just that and not buy to let, business etc.
  17. Thanks. What about money from a property sale in UK for example? If those funds were transferred to a thai bank. Would the same apply? So its only charged on the interest? That's just silly. I know rates are at there lowest in years but that sounds like its hardly worth it.
  18. Right. Just, 15% on interest doesn't sound right to me. Negligible at best!
  19. Thanks. Funds are currently in an ISA (tax free wrapper for non Brits) and tax was paid on earnings before deposited obviously. Just I read somewhere about having to wait until following tax year to not pay tax but I guess thats just on earnings from UK for example if you were working. I no longer have any income and will be living here on Thai marriage visa.
