  1. The suspect had posted on Facebook that "a lot of stuff is being prepared for Surat Thani tonight". BOSH!! That's that then. sorted. it must be him.. Why would they need article 44 to arrest a suspect if he really was a suspect?

To justify future use of Art 44, in not so "clear cut" cases??

Time for a little conspiracy theory:

The whole thing was a setup from the powers. Username: M Redshirt, give me a break!!

The army steals a pickup in the south, drives it to Samui (logistically it makes sense), blows the bomb.

And surprise, surprise almost instantly finds the FB page of M Redshirt.

Win/win/win situation: Justify the use of Art 44, delay elections (country not stable enough) and discredit the pesky red shirts.

    ??

Full Agree. This has nothing to do with Red Shirts. But the Thaksin Paranoia has to goes on. You to justify and discredit the opposition

  2. Forget the Paranoia Red Shirt nonsense.

Did you ever have heard about the Co-op Corporation Scandal about 13 years ago which has big 'clean' names of the Democrat Party involved?

I go shopping there every week, until today...

Again, i really fear about increase of the deep Southern problem.
Since Decades no one is really interested to solve the problems there.

So the problems comes now maybe nearer to the people which ignore them.

    I really hope im wrong

  3. i live in Surat Thani and i say since years that the unrest in the deep South could outspread to other Provinces.

    Last night around 10.p.m.:

    - a Car bomb on Samuis Chaweng Central Festival, (The car was stolen in the deep South, what i heard)

    - a huge fire in the area of Coop Shopping Centre in Phun Phin (very close to the Airport)

    - Another fire on a store on Ko Phang Ngan.

All on nearly same time and at the begin of Thai Songkran.

    Coincidence? I hope so...

  4. Hello

With my marriage has seen better days i want to change my Married Extension to Retirement.

I am 50 since this January

I stock up the amount to 800'000 Baht right now already

My extension of stay (Married) expiring mid of July.

I have 1 re-entry that i will use up end of this month (travel to my homeland for 3 weeks)

    My Question:

When and how can i change the reason of stay from Married to Retirment?

Can i just go to the Immigration before my married extension is running out

or what i have to do?

    Thank you in advance.
