I've had a few recent Big C deliveries, but now the site/app won't allow me to pick the delivery option. Only in store pick up and (some) parcel deliveries.
Anyone have any idea what's up?

several of the Thai women I know would always take a pic of the outside of the taxi and the driver's displayed license, and send the pics to a friend/family

It for the owner or possessor that completes it. Your info would be put on page 2 of the form.
There is no secret info needed to complete form
If you have a rental agreement that makes you the possessor.
ok, good info. Now I know
Thanks sir

Added note: be aware that if obtaining your extension in Bangkok you will use Laski immigration, IT Mall, as you entered visa exempt.
Oh <deleted>, I had no idea. Thank you, you just saved my day.

Thanks, Joe.
Question- the info in the form is for the house owner or the foreigner? I thought I would need the owners super secret info or something...

TM30
Also have screenshot of it.
What type of extension?
I got a visa exempt at the airport when entering. So, extending that
I have the screenshot and printout of the hotel screen.
Also, I've already signed up at a language school, and put in my paperwork to the MoE

My current apartment isn't sophisticated enough to file my residence with the gov, so I had to book a hotel to get the info for TM30...
I'm not sure which address I should use when filing for my visa extension.
What do you all think?
[spoilers] I'm assuming the tm30 address

you're right, my mistake... too much running around.

I've had like 5 hotels either tell me that they wont file the TM30, or not give an answer... so, anyone here know of a hotel that does it. I just need to book 1 night so I can get the form filled.. better late than never, I guess
[edit] got a hostel to finally agree to do it (after asking the question 3 times), so I'll see what happens

Hope so, Thanks UJ

I had a Thai language school ED visa about 9 years ago in a different passport, will that prevent me from getting the same Ed visa now? Different sites are saying different things...

Follow up: I wasn't asked for insurance when entering HCMC. Also, they didn't collect the stamping $25 stamping fee for my eVisa, but the place was packed so the guy might have just been rushed...

it doesnt matter- I asked the hotel staff for a copy of the TM30 and they said "What's a TM30".
So I just have to remember to take an extra 800 with me next time I'm at imm

sorry, my bad- I left out that I wouldn't be currently registered at a hotel, would then after staying with my friend get a hotel again. - Also, I would later extend my tourist visa.
So, would Immigration notice the gap in registered hotels?

If I stay with a friend for a few days and we dont want to be burdened with filing a tm30- Can anyone tell me what the fine on that would look like?
Thanks ????

Am I correct in thinking the requirements are-
a valid passport w/6mo, an outward ticket, and a 'never asked for' 20k baht. Is that correct?
I forgot Proof of Vax

That's the price for a visa on arrival.
Which isn't the same as visa exemption. Entering visa exempt is free of charge
ok, so Thaiembassy is confusing the two schemes? Or am I not able to read correctly (distinct possibility)?

All my dangle angles are wrong - And damn it, that's the way I like it ????

Thaiembassy says-
"Pay a fee of 2,000 THB upon entry. This fee is subject to change without notice. It must be paid in cash and only Thai currency is accepted."

Can I get conformation that this article is up to date and correct in it's requirements list
Thanks

good conversation, thanks for the various insights...
I'm gonna go ahead and bring the cash. It's not a big deal, I'm just not used to carrying cash these days.
-
I just want to double check that this has to be in cash (USD or Baht), and I can't just show a bank statement.
-
The gov website doesn't mention it, so - is it required to have insurance to enter Vietnam?
If so, how much and any recommendations?
Thanks

I've read about these TESOL courses, but can't find any current info on them. Does anyone here attend these courses (or know someone that does)? Any info would be great.
Thanks!
