Thanks. I think I will apply for a non immigrant O retirement visa in my home country . I think I fulfill al the requirements .

Many years already I go 3-4 weeks before expiring on 26 February , for an extension of my marriage visa and after proceeding all the documents I got a stamp "under consideration" for 1 month (25 March) and then I go to the immigration office where they stamp my extension till 26 February next year . This year I have to leave Thailand for surgery in my home country on March 16 , so during the "under consideration" period , and I don't know exactly when I can come back , estimated 3-4 months . In my I.O. in Nongkhai they say they can't stamp my extension before the under consideration period is finished or months later when I enter Thailand again with a re entry permit and they advise me to apply for a new marriage or retirement visa in my home country . Has somebody some experience with this situation or some advice ?
