Hello, I’ve just moved to Bangkok and could really use some advice! I’m from the UK and just got a job teaching English in Bangkok. I'm currently on a tourist VISA. I will soon travel to Kuala Lumpur to apply for a non immigrant B teaching VISA. On the website for the Thai embassy in Kuala Lumpur the requirements include: • Degree certificate authenticated by the embassy of its country of origin • Certified criminal record in the applicant’s country of origin authenticated by the embassy of its country of origin I have both of these documents but they have not been ‘authenticated’. Is authentication absolutely necessary for the VISA? If so, how do I go about doing so from Thailand? Thank you in advance!
