  1. Women all over the world value the same things for the main part. Only difference is the lower threshold in SEA to be considered wealthy and therefore a viable partner from a financial standpoint.

If memory serves correctly he is somewhere between 60-70 meaning most of the women he is bedding are paid, low value or both. I suspect middle aged single mums are the primary target.

  7. They probably aren't legal. Not everyone has the coin for an elite VISA or met the criteria for the LTR. Many Russians are abusing ED Visa's or Tourist Visa's. It isn't even hush hush. Agencies on Facebook are advertising ED Visa's without the need to attend class. online or in person. Outside of the elite and LTR there are very few options for them. Immigration will be either flat out deporting people or will take bribes and sweep it under the table.

  9. Given that they seem just like any other group of expats here I have no input to the so called, rivalries or clannish like behaviour of Germans or Brits. There isn't much press on Germans here in Thailand. Where can I go in Thailand to find whole buildings full of Insular German communities? Can I find illegal German tour guides or taxi drivers? Mafia? Sex workers? That honestly sounds interesting.

  11. Ok guy. Listings I reviewed 8 months ago and know are not available are still live on Fazwaz. If you think anyone has made a decision of consequence in 3 hours you are kidding yourselves. It would have been just as courteous for the owner to return the whole amount.
  12. That sounds about right based on my own dealings with them. It would seem at least 2/3 of the posters here and on other platforms have had the same experience. People whinge about racism etc. in peoples posts but a good deal of the time the comments or posts stay up free from moderation. Clearly the majority has run out of patience with Blyat and Sasha.

Sounds like a bunch of old farang slumlords (enty level condo only of course) trying to justify their own existence and importance. What is likely to have taken place in 3 hours? probably nothing. Even better, 75 year olds who dont ride motorcycles telling us all how to ride a motorcyle safely in Thailand. How intersting this place is.
  20. Agreed. Verbally accepting the deposit and taking no immediate action most have cost alot of resources for the owner. That scummy gen Y allowing themselves to be pressured into paying a deposit!

Checklist 1 - set the ac to 28 degrees - check, because that is heaps comfortable. 2 - turn off appliances at the wall like a boomer because "stand by power" "All my power is going to the red standby light on the VCR Beatrice! 3 - Stand on 1 leg praying to the electricity gods for a discount. Not on the list Consider moving out from the place that is likely charging you double what they pay for electricity. It is a common grift all over Thailand. The rate per unit id 2. something baht to 4. something baht depending on the location of your place, time of day and existing usage. You dont need to be a genius to work out what is happening in this instance. The internet was much more interesting before 70 year olds worked it out and started dishing out pearls of wisdom.

  23. You are missing the fact that they are profiteering off you by charging their own rate. They are likely charged 2-4 baht per kWh based on time of day and location. They pocket the rest.

  25. Cool story guy. I like how you put this all together from the OPs fairly brief post. Owners and agents can't be bothered to take down listings that are several months old. You think they did all that in 3 hours? I have checked into Airbnbs here at midday and at 8pm that night I still haven't received a working access card after I proved to them that the existing card does not work 8 hours beforehand.
