what is needed is to address the wrongs which took place on January 6, a very serious event/events which threatened to overthrow a government elected by the people.

CBS News buries poll result showing strong bipartisan agreement Jan. 6 was 'a protest that went too far'

The liberal network appeared selective when highlighting its poll asking, 'What happened at the Capitol'

They are very careful as he is ex president.

You can bet the house at least one indictment will come.

It proves nothing that they are slow.

Jan-6 is nothing, it should be obvious by the methods of presenting it in a scripted for television production and all one sided. Needs a proper court setting, grand juries, special prosecutors, indictments, there is none of that. What do voters care most about? Show me their main concern, or ANY concern is about jan-6. The media may have it high up on their priority of concerns but not the voters.

If it makes you feel better, Trump may get "served" a court appearance for document and records mismanagement but not much more that is circulating in the media. Where does all this go now and where should it go and what should it lead to?

What you don't note is that Trump wanted the National Guard there to protect the demonstrators.

Trump asked for troops to do 'whatever was necessary' to protect demonstrators who went on to storm the Capitol

President Donald Trump asked for National Guard troops to be deployed to protect his supporters at the rally on January 6 that culminated in hundreds of those supporters violently storming the Capitol, his former acting defense secretary told lawmakers on Wednesday.

Christopher Miller told the House Oversight and Reform Committee on Wednesday that he held a meeting with Trump on January 3, three days before the violent siege in Washington, DC, which resulted in at least five fatalities.

And the truth of Miller's statement is obvious: when it turned out that it was not the demonstrators but rather Congress that was being threatened, Trump sat on his hands and did nothing. Not only that, he actually lied that he wasn't watching the event live as it unfolded on TV but rather was in meetings despite the testimony of multiple eyewitnesses.

Ex-Capitol Police Chief Says Requests For National Guard Denied 6 Times In Riots

"Sund says he requested assistance six times ahead of and during the attack on the Capitol. Each of those requests was denied or delayed, he says.

Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser also wanted a light police presence at the Capitol. She reportedly wanted to avoid a similar scenario as last summer, when federal forces responded to demonstrators opposed to police abuses who assembled near the White House"

Need to have a dialogue on the Sund's request and subsequent denials for NG presence.

Topic is about Liz Cheney and Pelosi has no Presidential ambition at ripe old age of 82

"Liz Cheney is considering a presidential run to stop Trump after losing her House seat"

Yes you be correct in saying the topic is about Liz Cheney and someone named Trump (who is said by some (pelosi) that he can't be beat by others if he is on the ticket)

Biden has been making gaffes since he was born. Nothing to do with age or mental health. He also knows the Wash, DC system better than anyone who has been POTUS in decades, which is why he has been able to accomplish so much in such a short time:

-Nobody ever got a infrastructure Bill done since FDR; Biden got it passed.

-He got prescription drug price reductions passed---in the face of so-called Big Pharma

-He was the one who believed Ukraine could beat putin. He pushed for aid when everyone else was saying "a few days and putin takes Ukraine". Biden was right.

-Biden rebuilt the NATO 45 was hellbent on destroying

-Biden inherited UE of 6.8% from 45, and it's now 3.7%

Oh, and in the two weeks since this post thread began, his approval rating jumped to levels higher than 45 ever saw.

Now if people want to talk mental health, 45 is the one who is batshoot crazy.

-45 can "think" and declassify? In what Universe?

-The FBI searched MaL for HRC's emails?  Even hannity was embarrassed by that.

-The FBI "planted" the things 45 minutes later he said he declassified with his mind?

-45 is now embracing the QAnon silliness that claims Tom Hanks, HRC and others are part of an international cabal, run out of the basement of a basement-less pizza shop in DC, that rapes, roasts and eats babies.

And then there's the 'small matter' that 45 tried to overthrow US democracy and its 250 year system of government, all because he's a "whiny butt little [female dog]" and so painfully insecure he cannot accept being a LOSER

Most Democrats don't want Biden as 2024 nominee: Poll

A poll from ABC News and the Washington Post found 56% of Democratic-registered voters and Democratic-leaning voters want another candidate to top the ticket. The poll found only 35% prefer Biden as the Democratic Party's 2024 nominee.

I’m calling this rightwing, MAGA attempt to denigrate President Biden for what it is, ‘Projection’.

Give me a shout when Biden comes down the steps of Air-force 1, then wanders off aimlessly until his staff bring him back.

Let me know if you catch Biden saluting North Korean Generals, or praising despots.

I certainly want to know if Biden is carted off to hospital in the middle of the night for a cognition test, or if members of his administration seriously start discussing enacting the 25th Amendment.

And I’ll definitely be interested if Biden starts claiming he can execute Presidential authority simply by thinking about it.

I do however draw the line at being presented with credible photographic evidence suggestive of Biden wearing adult diapers, that would put me off my morning Covfefe.

It seems though Biden's approval goes up when he keeps his mouth shut and drops when he lays down one of his outrageous world class gaffes.

Here's some recent meet and potato numbers:

Former President Donald Trump continues to outperform President Joe Biden on a variety of key issues, a Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll taken in September found.

    Stimulating Jobs

Trump January 2021: 58 percent approve

Biden September 2022: 44 percent approve

    Fighting Terrorism

Trump January 2021: 55 percent approve

Biden September 2022: 42 percent approve

    Foreign Affairs

Trump January 2021: 52 percent approve

Biden September 2022: 40 percent approve

    Administering the Government

Trump January 2021: 49 percent approve

Biden September 2022: 41 percent approve
