A person's decision to continue wearing or not wear a mask is simply that: a personal choice or decision. It is not directly correlated to one's educational background. Please stop disparaging the good people of Thailand as being poorly educated. It does not compute.

Now that the rule of mask wearing has been eased, it has become voluntary. Thus 'they DO NOT all need to come off!" Most people do not hide behind the masks, but actually care for their and other people's health. Covid-19 aside, the bad air quality in Bangkok and most cities around Thailand is another good reason to continue wearing masks - IMHO.
