  1. It's moved to Thepprasit, opposite Soi 15.

    Thanx a lot,

fine that's not far away from where I live.

The old location was also good for me, I can go shopping while they do the service. Normally they finished work when I come back. So no boring waiting.

  2. Is there any rental shop for thai dvd movies in pattaya.

The rental shop with german dvds I know.

But I look for a shop which has also rental of local dvds in thai language or english with thai subs. No illegal copies, which are many times in low quality (screeners)

    Thanx

  3. Any recommendation where to buy a Suzuki Hayate in Pattaya.

Myton near TuCom has Suzuki. I see another shop near Carrefour on the opposite side, which has Suzuki.

I want a shop with good and reliable service. The prices are nearly the same everywhere.

I tried the Hyate from a friend yesterday and I have to say the bigger engine (125cc not 115cc) is clearly noticeable. Big space under the seat, breaks are OK (not so good as the AirBlade's), almost 10% cheaper as the AirBlade or Nuovo.

We have a new Suzuki Hayate the throttle has been jamming open, took it back and the dealer said this is a known issue and there is a recall on them to get it fixed, if you have one best to get it checked out, ours is about 1 month old, not sure how many it affects.
  4. Thanx for that information.

In germany some shops are selling the samsung 245B for about 430 Euro. That's 20k baht as you say.

After next week I go back to germany an come here again in november.

I begin to consider buying the display in germany and bring it to here in my suit case / bag.

    Anyone tried that?

Last time I had a motherboard, keyboard and a big cooler (scythe ninja) in my bag. no problem.

  5. I want to build a new house on my wife's land. I want to own the house in my sole name.

My wife will buy the land in two month. That will be no problem.

I want to register a lifetime habitation right on the land.

Can this be done at the land office without lawyer and without a long contract?

Is a VOA enough for the registration?

Does anybody know the thai word for the habitation right?

The builder told me he will apply the construction permit in my name.

Any special requirements for that (concerning my name)?

When the house is finished I want to register it at the land office in my name.

Is the construction permit, the habitation right on the land and if needed a confirmation of the builder that I pay for the house, enough to get the registration?

What kind of paper I will get from the land office?

After that will I be able to apply for the yellow tabien ban?

Thank you very much for any help.

  6. I heard from a friend that the immigration at jomtien, accepts as proove for the 40k monthly income, when you show bank receipts for the last 3 month getting 40k from outside country. Is this true? I not believe what he tell me, because everybody here says letter from embassy or tax receipt.

When this is really true it should be easy to get a extention of stay for people not have regular income but enough money in bank in their home country. They only need to send 40k from their bank in their country to their bank account in thailand.
