  1. The bottom line, as a farang or tourist in Thailand you ain't going to win. My advice as a 78 yoa retired cop is to avoid any conflict at all cost, don't argue and walk away before getting your ass handed to you.
  2. Sexual assault and inappropriate advances are two different things. Ether way the aggravated battery Trump's a verbal assault and the Brit will now face prison .
  3. I've found all religions to be deluded to some degree. Some exposure to main stream religions will allow one to follow. or not.
  4. Prison is not Club Med. She knew the risk.
  5. Try having a bit of compassion for a person of his age. How many at that age would continue to travel to the unknown by ourselves? It also appears that some locals helped as would many Thais. Much better here than my home country USA. And I'm a retired Chicago Cop.
  6. Left the U.S. for Thailand 5 years back at age 72, and had traveled to many countries prior to relocating. I attribute Thailand's kindness, morality, and acceptance of all decent, good people regardless ethnic, religion, gender, or nationality, primarily due to Thailand's overwhelming Buddhist population, and traditional teachings. I've generally found no other main stream religion or national population as tolerant.
