I have a deep well which I pump water from into large water tanks via a hose. I then use the water from these tanks with a automatic pump to feed water into the house for day to day use….. The problem I have is that there is significant iron in the water. The water runs “clear” from the well/hose but when the water has sat for a while it goes a rusty colour and also smells of metal. Any ideas how I can fix this?
