So if they looked older that’s an excuse? Seems like trying to justify it with excuses. I’m sure the people interested knew the ages. And I’m sure that is what they were looking and paying for
If they can not tell the differennce then they should be locked up anyway.

Here's a question: if these drivers are so poor and don't make much money, why do so many of them have massive stereo system, fancy lighting, and all sorts of other 'luxury' additions to their rides? Shouldn't their pittance to towards something like feeding their families and saving for the future? Inquiring minds want to know. 😉The drivers work for a pittance and usually do not own the tuk tuk.

But it seems most of us don't like it if foreigners talk bad about our home country or maybe people from our nationality
Brits complain the loudwst about foreigners in Britain, even when those foreigners are not even complaing.
But when the shoe is on the other foot, well they complain some more.

How did I know I would find the Chief Brit Apologist here. Brits just cant take critisism.

The juvenile is the idiot youtuber who wants to show up to a country and slag of the people and the culture to get youtube likes and who cries when he gets asked to pull his head in.
Instaead of constantly whining why doesnt he just leave.

Also, in terms of defammation in other parts of the world actual damage(s) muut have occurred. What is the actual damage when a nobody with phone rants about a country? What next? Ban youtube?
"Sticks and bones will break my bones but words expressed on a insignificant youtube channel will not hurt me". Or just a rebuttal video.
It might be time for all the whining whinging Brits to go back home.
I am glad the police have warned him to pull his head in.
Showing up here uninvited and he wants to make money on youtube complaining about his hosts,
Thais hate whiners and it is a sign of a weak personality to them. And a big part of the reason I like living here so much.
The worst part about living here is all these Brits who constantly complain about everyone and everything.
Many simply do not have the ability to say anything positive about anyone. They dont fit in here.
He has been warned and looks like he might have accepted that he was in the wrong and the Thais are not interested in his krap.
But i dout it will have a long term effect on him.
Leapards dont change their spots.

If it had of been me I dont think I would have restrained myself as well as the young Thai gentleman did.
I would have driven off dragging tough boy along the road.
Patient people these Thais.

Its not worth anyones while even attempting to discuss any such matter with any logic...
You do realise that the Brit has been arrested and in custody for a committing a violent crime?
And the tuk tuk driver hasnt been arrested for anything and will be joining his family for dinner.
And you are trying to spin this into what exactly because i havent joined your chorus of blaming the tuk tuk driver who was just working trying to make a living

Its not worth anyones while even attempting to discuss any such matter with any logic... So Blinded by his hatred of the British he'd find negativity in someone who'd cured cancer if they turned out to be British.
There is no evidence of balance or critical thinking in any form for this poster - his bigotry is it, thats all he has to post with, day in day out, he'll find a way to post something negative against the Brits, even if it means searching the internet to find negative story.
You are a bit off topic. It is about another violent Brit and is all over the Thai news. It isnt hatred, it is the news.
Thankfully the Thai police apprehended the thug and we are now all safer.
Locked up safely in a prison cell.
Despite what you might think, this is not the way to behave as a guest in a foreign country.
Not so tough now is the punk?

I had a much different experience.

Now, if I were the university administration, I would have taken a different path. Once the encampment was set up, I would have built a wall or fence around it. Not let anyone enter or leave. Not let anyone pass anything back and forth. Basically, let them wither on the vine.
So basically give them a bit like Gaza. But without the bombing of kids, women and all their stuff.
Are you an Israeli?

Why do think this is the case and where does this discrimination stem from?

A lot of that trouble can be attributed to frozen pensions.

Where was it shown that the driver accepted B100 as the fare? It looked as though he was wanting the full agreed amount to be paid.
Exactly mate.
He was ripped off, then assaulted for asking to be paid the full amount.

Lol. You basically just did the opposite of what I advised. You went more biased.
As I said, if the local isn't the victim, then how is siding with the local siding with the victim?
I forgot begging for drugs at 7/11.
And selling drugs in Koh Phangngan

Easy when the request comes from a Phuket tuk-tuk driver, not from the police.
Colonel Khundet Na Nongkhai, Karon Police Chief, reported to the Phuket Express on Tuesday (April 30th) that Mr. Luke was apprehended at a hotel on Phi Phi Island by Koh Phi Phi and Karbi Tourist police.
The arrest was made following an arrest warrant issued by Phuket Kwaeng Court on charges of causing physical and mental harm to another individual.
The accused was moved to the Karon Police Station in Phuket. Colonel Khundet disclosed that Mr. Luke had neither made a statement nor entered a plea by press time, and declined to speak to the media.

If the local isn't the victim, how are the police taking the victim's side by siding with the local?
Step away from your crushing bias and use your brain for a change.
If you kick a woman, the woman is the victim.
If you bite a Thai, the Thai is the victim.
If you slap songkran revellers, security guards and taxi drivers then they are the victim.
If you molest a young student as their teacher the kid is the victim.
If you push a woman off a balcony then the woman is the victim.
If you run over a Thai and run off then the Thai is the victim.
It isnt my idea, it is just the way the law has evolved.
One of the worst aspects of all these assaults by the Brits is the endless victim blaming.
If you take a dump in public near Nana, well, then, everyone is just disgusted.

Spain was not so unlike Thailand before it got to expensive and cheaper tickets became available for thailand.
The Brits in Thailand are a higher quality than the Brit tourists in Spain generally.
The Spainiards have had to put up with a lot and are quite jaded as a result.

Foreigners are kicking, biting, and punching the locals, often women and you wonder why the police are taking the victims side?

"Drunk" Brit pensioner, 70, reverses into Thais killing one injuring one - then damages 4 vehicles before overturning
in Eastern Thailand

I would estimate over half of the Brits who drink in Pattaya drive.
