I am planning on a move back to SE Asia. The plan would be to travel often but to set up a small apartment in Thailand and use it as a base. I would probably spend a month or two in Thailand then head off for another month or two before returning. I do qualify for a retirement visa but would prefer to avoid the bureaucracy and the moving the 800K over. I know there is so no certain rule but has anyone had experience doing this? Is it possible to do this? I have a USA passport if it matters.

I am planning a move to Bangkok soon and wonder how one finds an apartment to rent. Is there website available to use? Should i use an agent? I am looking for a lower priced place. Say under 20,000 Baht. Anyone have a tip?

The usual legal limit of thc in a gummy doesn't do much for me Last year while in Pattaya I found a shop that sold gummies with a high concentration of thc. It was similar to what I found in California. Does anyone know a shop in Bangkok that does the same? I don't want to travel to Pattaya for it.

Why are so many people wearing black today? I was on the BTS and about 70 percent of the people were in black. I tried googling it but got no answer. What's up?

If anyone is still reading this thread i will give you an update. I went with Ipostal1 for my forwarding service. I was able to change all of my bank accounts as well as my credit cards with one exception. Bank of America would not accept it as an address. I called to ask more and was told it was a big no. I ended up canceling the card. So far everything else is going well.

So, which company can I use in order to get credit and debit cards. If the company is a registered CMRA there seems to be a problem right?

I have had a relative handling my mail but that will be ending soon. I am looking for a good mail forwarding service that will scan my mail if needed. Also one that would be able to mail over credit cards...There are tons on the internet, but I am looking for one that someone has used. Any tips? Thanks
