Scottish man becomes latest victim of Thailand’s perilous roads
newbee2022 replied to snoop1130's topic in Krabi News
Always the same story: Foreigner comes to Thailand, the land of the free..... Biking without helmet on a scooter. Brain left at home. Even wearing helmet you are in danger on a scooter in Thailand. When will farangs learn? Buy a car and have some protection. It cost some bucks more but probably not your life! RIP scotsman. -
It's a tragic story. However it makes me angry as well: There is a guy who got an accident. Obviously is was his fault because he did not claim there was somebody else involved. So instead of say thank you and be grateful to the Docs who put everything together he's complaining. About what? That he is a bit dumb - for me he seems not to be the brightest candle on the cake.....likes to beat other persons and like them to feel pain....is not my cup of tea anyway - to complain about the Docs and the hospital not having done their job? He's still alive, isn't he? He can even learn an ordinary job where you don't need much brain? And now he/his sister find somebody/obviously many to donate money..... to what purpose actually? To fill his pockets? Or give donations to a stupid biker who could not handle his bike? It is definitely not clear for me why this bloke is begging for money? Maybe somebody can explain??

Fatal Collision After Family Gathering in Chonburi
newbee2022 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
I bet no seat belts.....unfortunately. -
he didn't stop all the years. Him and his buddies met in Dubai or in London. Some weeks ago Prayut, Prawit and Thaksin have been in London at the same time. You think they never met? Or met somewhere else. Thaksin is a deal maker and probably try to continue the so successful dynasty of those Shinawatras.

Has Thailand to wait for another 4 or more years for the next election? The Generals wrote a perfect constitution to secure their power. If there is no result - as it looks like now - then we have a caretaker govt. which can rule and rule and rule... A change definitely is possible if a coalition will get enough votes/seats one day. But in the meantime the Generals and cronies will write a better constitution (for themselves) to prevent this scenario.

"Any volunteer's , want to lose a leg" ??? what does that mean ??? Do you mean: No volunteer wants to lose a leg? And where the volunteers are coming from? To test the escalator? Do you mean: Nobody wants to lose a leg voluntarily? But even involuntarily people don't want to lose a leg, isn't it? And why is it volunteer's ( with this apostrophe) ?? ????????????

Civilian-led solution needed for permanent peace in the deep South
newbee2022 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well, it reminds me not only on Israel-Palestine conflict but the Russian war at present. There was once in 2014 a Minsk Agreement to give autonomy to those parts where Russians live. These parts/Donbas were now occupied by Russia because Ukraine did not fulfil the treaty/agreement and subsequently did not protect/respect the Russians there but bullied them. It depends on the Muslims and Thai Govt. how serious they would stick to any agreement. -
Temazepam (Ristoril) Prescription in Chiang Mai?
newbee2022 replied to Microwave's topic in Chiang Mai
"However, elderly patients are more likely to have unwanted effects (eg, severe drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, clumsiness, or unsteadiness) and age-related kidney, liver, or heart problems, which may require caution and an adjustment in the dose for patients receiving temazepam" You like that? Try this: "In the elderly, should prescription medication be necessary, the first-line treatment is nonbenzodiazepines (e.g., zolpidem, eszopiclone, zaleplon, and ramelteon) as they have been found to be safer and better tolerated than tricyclic antidepressants, antihistamines, and benzodiazepines." -
It's made by AstraZeneca. I wouldn't doubt it's not same quality as Sandoz ????

And here we go again.....FUNDRAISING....Though it's a tragic accident we should think about the insurance's decision not to pay. I was travelling since 20 years around Thailand but never got into troubles with balconies. So - no prejudice - we should consider the time of this accident and to ask about intake of alcohol or weed or both. This guy's not a child and fully responsible for what happened. It's a sad story indeed, but I'm fed up with immediately asking for money. Anyway I hope he'll recover once.????

I strongly disagree! Maturity doesn't come by age (only). Look at that 80 year old Joe Biden or this fragile Prawit. Aren't they not mature or already childish? Who knows? ???? -

the lawyer is wrong. You can do it you described, put it in an envelope and deposit it at the city hall. Doesn't cost anything.

Prawit and seek: Deputy PM shuts down Thaksin meeting rumours in UK

Both are coming from the same root of cheating, lying and corruption. So why not meet and make a deal.....as deal makers do?????
