  1. As a Brit myself, the behaviour of the young Brit tourists across the World is disgraceful, one of the reasons i first went to Asia over 20 years ago, was to get away from the idiots who had already ruined most of Europes holiday destinations with their drunken Cocaine fuelled antics, and it was a safe haven for many years, now the same people who ruined Europes holiday hotspots are now running riot here too, the beginning of the end is now upon us, the plague of violence and anti- social behaviour that follows the influx of these clowns will be will spread like a dark cloud over all of Thailands tourist resorts, mark my words, iv seen it first hand....
  2. Sad for the guy who lost his life over a meaningless road rage incident, the guy who hit him obviously has anger management issues, he will have a lot of time to reflect on his actions in a Thai prison..
  3. The saying " If it looks to good to be true, then it probably is " springs to mind, online fraudsters operate everywhere, although Thailand seems to has more than its fair share, people chasing the dream of easy money, usually find out the dream is more like a financial nightmare
  4. Stop treating people coming to Thailand to spend money like they should be grateful and in debt to the powers that be, the term" Farang " is often used in a detrimental context with regards to tourists, when its Thailands tourist areas that should be grateful, as without " Stupid Farangs " those areas would not exist, although the quality of tourists has declined sharply in recent years, anti social behaviour, violence, the availabilty of drugs ( particulary Cocaine ) has exploded in Phuket, Pattaya and Bangkok in recent years, which has had a huge negative effect on these areas, people are realising there is much more to SE Asia than Thailand, and more welcoming Countries are now taking up the chance to attract new tourists, and it will be Thailands loss and their gain
  5. Another one " forced " to smuggle Cannabis from Thailand, strange how every one who is caught uses the same excuse, the rise in Cannabis smuggling from Thailand skyrocketed once it was legalised, and attracted criminal enterprises from around the globe, due to its cheap price in Thailand, it certainly attracted the " Quality Tourists " that TAT was hoping to entice to visit the country, but a serious question is, the weed shops that are selling these large multiple Kilo amounts of weed, and im presuming they also Vacuum pack them, must know its not for personnal use, so should they be implicated in the smuggling operation also? I hope he enjoys his extended visit to Qatar, might teach him a well earnt lesson, and as for his Go Fund me page to help with his legal bills, im sure the people he was forced to smuggle weed for, will be more than happy to help.....
  6. Been there 3 times, although i avoid the immigration queues in Ho Chi Minh by starting my trip in Phu Quoc, and go through the domestic lane, never had a problem with the Taxis, just use Grab or Bolt, theres plenty of scam Taxi drivers outside Thailands Airports too, its not unique to Vietnam
  7. Been going to Vietnam the last 3 Years, although my base is in Thailand, its a bit behind tourism wise but its catching up quick, the great advantage it has, is that its main tourist areas arent full of pissed up idiots causing mayhem, which is sadly now a major factor in most of Thailands major tourist destinations, anti social behaviour and drugs of all kinds, are now a major blight on Thailands tourism industry, the place has gone to the dogs in the last few years, no wonder more and more people are choosing Vietnam over Thailand these days
  8. Shut 7,000 on Monday, 8,000 opened on Tuesday, who do they think they are kidding 🤣
  9. Good payday for local " Law " enforcement, nothing will change, it never does, a lot of people, Farang or Thai dont have licences or insurance, when a slap on the wrist and a fine is all you have to worry about, why would they care ?
  10. I watched it for 2 hours before i realised my mistake, i need to pay attention....
  11. Too many afternoons down Soi 6 will have the same effect
  12. AI probably has more intelligence than TAT, but that is no way a major achievement, the lack of brain cells in the powers that be, is truly astounding, one minute they are freezing peoples bank accounts due to the huge amount of Chinese criminals laundering money, next minute they are bending over backwards to welcome them in 🤣🤣🤣
  13. 25 Baht? Why is this even news worthy, Pattaya must have been very quiet today...
  14. Well yes, the BBC documentary was a terrible piece of alleged journalism, but it does have a point, most people who come here for a holiday will likely never see the " dark side " of Thailand, but have no doubt that it does exist, the "Land of Smiles" is a slogan, nothing more, its a country that has more than its fair share of problems, mostly hidden from foreigners who come for a 2 week holiday, but spend an extended period of time, or live here and you will soon discover its the " Land of Fake Smiles " the Thais smile when you are making them money, money stops, so do the smiles, and your lovely Thai friends soon disappear once the cash stops, be under no illusion, once you see through the mirage of Thailand, and start using your brain instead of your genitals to make decisions, you might see it for what it really is......a racist, violent, corrupt, crime ridden country with no respect for foreigners, only what they can extract from them, im waiting for the Thai apolagist backlash, bring it on...
  15. Fat brown envelopes will be flying around again...
