is a good place, on soi bhuakauw. Daily prices around 800 bath, monthly prices on the site.

Has 2 swimming-pools. Have seen many long-stayers overthere.

Is a real good place, but, not easy to book. Many times they don't respond to mails...

many times they are full.

not realy a big fan of English breackfast, but, would goto the rising sun-bar (http://www.risingsunbar.net/index.htm)

to have one overthere again. Is a guesthouse as wel, 12 rooms.

Was not the first time i did have engl. breackfast, but, was for sure the best i did have in Pattaya ever.

Only minus: the restaurant isn't a real restaurant, just 2 big tables in the bar.

The food realy good, try their chicken-curry, aroi maakmaak !!

Sunbeam Hotel is a great location (between soi 7 and soi8) for nightlife and near the beach, see http://www.venere.com/img/hotel/5/0/4/6/27...map_coast_1.jpg

but, as i said, is not cheap. Maybe you can find some deals on booking-sites.

all these scams work the same way..

if you go further with them, then you have to send prove that you are

the one who did win the prize.. adres, ID, bankaccountnr, and whatever they wanna have from you.

A few days later you recieve a message from them that your money is depositted in some bankaccount

(you get the name of a, mostly international, bank).

And then it comes: to release themoney from that bank to your bankaccount, you wil have to pay

several hundreds or even thousends to them to get the money released.

When you send them that money, you wil never again hear from them.

If you don't send them the money, then the funds cannot be released ..

Simple as clear water: you have to pay before you get none of the money that was supposed to get to you...

It is always the same sceme.

Once i was in contact with such scammers. I told them, i pay nothing in adavance, but they could take 10%

of the money for them before sending it to me. You know... i didn't get an answer nomore from them.

vagabond, it's AVG. I see you have the latest version and that generates a lot of traffic.

Did have the same problem: removed AVG and use Avast instead now.

Also, i wasn't happy about my zonealarm nomore: same problem. I use PCTools firewal now.

That putted an end to the excessive trafic, the same as you experience now.

Altough, doesn't mean AVG and Zonealarm are bad. Just, the traffic they generated made my PC freeze.

Now, while using Avast and PCTools-firewall, don't have that problem nomore.

Sometimes my PC get's slow, i scan with Avast, and then it seems i have a trojan (from warez sites...??)

Avast finds them, removes them, and my speed is back to normal.

My opinion: the new versions of AVG... no good !

Zonealarm, the newest versions: no good !

Lately, there is a new karaoke-bar next to sanya-appartments.

They start playing music around 23.00 hours until 07.00 in the morning.

The music is going through the whole building of sanya-apprtments,

especialy the bas-beat is very disturbing and LOUD.

The karaoke-owners seems to have a permit (????) to stay open until the morning.

If you think about sleepeing before 07.00 hours, just forget it !

You won't unles you are deaf.

Pitty to see a good place-to-stay trough the drain...

Peoples are canceling their reservations already and it seems new reservations

are not coming in nomore.

i see there is some confusion...

first, there is the coach-service wich runs from Ekamai to Pattaya.

around 100 bath (last time i used them it was 99 bath)

Don't know if this service runs to the new airport, but, i suppose they do.

But, there is also BEST wich runs a bus to the new airport. Last departure from Pattay

is 17.00 hours. Price around 150 bath, and everyone gets his own double seat.

When the bus is ful, sorry,... but, you can buy the tickets days in advance.

Or maybe your hotel can book a ticket for you.

I know, in the Nana-hotel in BKK, you can buy the booking.

Don't know for other hotels.

These are 2 different companys, don't get confused !!!
