About Me
My first trip to Thailand was in 1991, and I was instantly smitten. By 1995, I’d made it my home, settling in Nakhon Sawan province. My career spanned the restaurant and hotel industry, and I later taught Hotel Management at I-TIM and SUIC in Bangkok. I also dabbled in Sales & Marketing and supported my wife in her insurance sales role. Sadly, a rare condition called Adhesive Arachnoiditis forced me to retire—a tough pill to swallow, as I adored working here. These days, I’m on a modest disability pension, making the most of whatever time I have left with this incurable illness. Still, life in Thailand beats my home country any day—it’s pure joy, even under the circumstances.
