I have a case against a Thai passing a bad cheque, we managed to get the police to arrest after 2 years, during the 2 years the offender paid the investigation office 200,000 bhat to loose my file, he was transfer maybe for other problems we will never know, however last year we managed to get an arrest warrant issues with all sort of promises issued however when the signing of the arrest warrant was to be signed the station chief refuse to sign it off, then the arrested offender were allowed to escape for a few week, its been almost another years, i told the new police office i was going to a higher authority, his reply it would be dangerous for me top do that, i have left Thailand because of that issue, we are 7 million bhat out of pocket, i plan to return and seek more experience legal assistance however, the offence is a serious offence of fraud. What result can we expect the guys has hung himself the police most likely though he was not worth much if they done there job right they would have his wallet, probable too busy trying to work out a scheme how the scam the poor kid.

Well good luck, they tell me it will up to the judge of the day and the stories told. if the lady pleads poor you loose or get payment like 200 bhat over the next 100 years. I was paid 7 million Bhat with a bounced check, the police hid or lost the file 3 years later, i am still not in the court after restarting the case the Chief of Pattaya police station was stood down or transferred. he is guilty for not supervising his officers however i was told he would not sign the arrest warrant until someone guaranteed brown bag payment to him. The offenders paid the original arresting office 200k Bhat then was transferred to another station, for the next 3 years the offenders whet about ripping more people (Thai) off, the last i heard was about 102 million bhat, this all could have been stopped if the original police officer done his job. I too still have faith in Thailand and some Thai people, i sure hope Big Joke get to hear about my case and moves o the original arresting officer and the Pattaya police chief To the man from Holland good luck, i have Thai grand children and would never put them all in the same basket hopefully they will bring some trust and belief into Thailand .

He would be ok if he stayed in Pattaya, the offender who scammed me for Bhat 7 million payed the original Pattaya Bhat 200,000, the complaint file just disappeared, such magic, nothing as it the file and you would not believe the cop was transferred disappeared. Finally an arrest warrant was issued 2 years later for the offender, then the station chief refused to sign the arrest warrant. I offered to asked the DSI to help, i was told to leave Thailand. The matter still not in the court AMAZING , Just wounder how they caught hoppy.
