  1. Every once in a while you need a break. I do not mind living here. But where I am from the whole country is changing so, its nice to visit. If there was a great sandwich shop here in Thailand then basically I would never ever have to leave.
  2. I do not want to talk to my fellow countrymen why do I want to talk to anyone here? Not everyone is talkative. My spouse and I are fine together. But living in a place where there are three different languages being spoken it is quite hard to pick up one dialect. I do watch my mates who speak it quite fluently and most Thai's are put off by it.
  3. News today gone tomorrow.
  4. I chose to live here due to the political climate and knowing that if there was ever a nuclear war Thailand would be one of the last places hit. I feel safe. I did figure out if we have not electricity I will not last long.
  5. Have you ever been to Isan? The constant negative stereotyping of this area is horrible. As a non-Thai I enjoy it here. There are extremely more brothels in each little city that only caters to Thai and Asian men. Not including the brothels on the borders that cater to Asian men who like underage girls. It would be nice to see Thailand clean up itself and cater to families. The Japanese are not coming here because as it has been stated their Yen is in decline against the almighty baht.
