  1. Thanks for all the advice guys. Appreciated
  2. Thanks for all of the advice guys. If I get an under consideration stamp, can I leave the country on a re entry permit and come back and finalise the application? I tried Manareet who says they cannot assist with marriage visa. I have spoken to another agent who says it may be possible to get it done quickly but need go to immigration to get more information . I will call Savannakhet again to try and get more information on the booking system, and hopefully it’ll sort it self out.
  3. I had a look at Saigon appointments and looks straight forward and easy to get an appointment. They done the same as Svnkt last year changing to the appointment system and 3 day processing so seems to have sorted itself there. Only issue the website states that you can only get the visa from there if your a Vietnamese resident, I have emailed to clarify.
  4. My Non Imm O Multi Entry from London Embassy is running out soon, and looking for some advice on what visa I should use moving forward. If any one has any suggestions that would be much appreciated. I’m 35 years old and married to a Thai, local office is Jomtien. I work a 4 weeks on 4 weeks off rotation offshore in USA. I’m from UK originally, and travel back to Thailand every time off. I don’t mind seasoning the 400k, but I don’t have the time to stay in Thailand more than 25 days when I’m back due to having to fly back to work. Savvannakhet is the most desirable option, but seems totally impossible to get an appointment. I have tried to contact local agent there to see if they can assist and couldn’t get through. Im learning Thai through a company in Pattaya, so Ed visa could be a short term option with a re entry permit. But not ideal for long term. I started the LTR process but was never eligible due to working for a subsidiary company of my company that doesn’t meet the financial requirements. I wondered if I can obtain either METV or SE Non Imm O from US consulate when I’m at work. I have a B1 visa. It would be ideal if I could use extension / re entry permit on the 90 non imm O stamp, altough not sure if this possible. The last option is to just come Visa Exempt until I’m told that I need a visa. Which happened in late 2019, hence why i went down the visa route in the first place. Elite would be a last resort. DTV might be an option next year but need something sooner. Long drawn out post but just explaining my full situation and the options that i can see available. Thanks in advance, hopefully some other people in the same situation can share some insight. Cheers
  5. @RC8 Hey is the Non O ME visa available from Penang or HCMC? Thought it was only Savvanakeht that was left? Someone had mentioned an agent was booking all the slots, I tried to call one visa agent in Savannakeht with no luck will try again next week
  6. Thanks DrJack, 35 years, married to a Thai. And yes seems that way although I am trying to explore getting a fast tracked extension but it’s proving more difficult than first thought. let’s hope Savannakhet continues to issue the Multi Entry Non O
  7. I travel back and forth to Thailand from the US (British National). I work offshore in Gulf of Mexico 4 weeks on 4 weeks off. Currently on Non Imm O Multi Entry from London Embassy (no longer available) Married to a Thai National Stay in Thailand 25 days a time, 6 times a year (Not enough time for 1 year extension & re-entry permit) Plan to get Multi Entry Non O from Savannakhet with 400k seasoned in Thai Bank (Just incase). This is just figuring out other options if required. A single entry plus extension with a re entry permit would be required around twice a year. The other option if Savannakhet becomes unavailable would be Elite but that’s the last option for sure.
  8. Might be a silly question but if you have a non imm O single entry and you get a 60 day extension to stay with family. Can you leave get a re-entry permit and go and come back until the end of the 150 days?
  9. Im in the process of contacting an agent to see if my Non O ME can be extended by a year within 28 days. If that is not possible then Savannakhet will be the next option. Worst case scenario I will take the hit at work and take the extra time off to get the first extension done. I’ve got a good few months left on my visa, so just planning what I’m gonna do
  10. Following this. In the exact same position. I had confirmation from the London embassy that the multi entry was no longer available. My plan was to try and get the year extension, but also only have 25 days in the country each time I travel. Looking to use an agent to try and expedite the process.
  11. Contact Membership office at Rolling Hills, as the Old Course is closed until September for renovations. I joined in March, 3 x Course membership, weekday for 90,000 THB plus 10,000 THB Admin Fee (New Members). You can choose to join 4 x course, but won't have access to the Old Course until at least September. 110,000 THB + 10,000 THB Admin Fee. If you do join, and fancy a game let me know. I have a small group of guys I play with, and always looking for new members to play with. During high season, Siam are not very accommodating to single golfers.
