Thanks for the advice on Air Con units, we have been thinking about a Haier unit but I will check out Mitsubishi. We have been speaking to our condo management about the renovation but they are very busy at the moment, and wouldn't be able to start for several months it seems.

Hi all, My wife and I have just bought a Condo in Lat Phrao, which needs renovating. I have read plenty of horror stories (including on this forum) about how difficult this can be, particularly in finding reliable builders. We are looking to make some structural changes (including removing part of a non-load bearing wall and replacing a door) as well as installing a new kitchen and renovating the bathroom. Any recommendations for a reliable building and plumbing firm would therefore be great. Separately, we need to buy a new air conditioning unit, and we were hoping to find a firm that specialises in installing energy efficient (eco friendly) units. Again, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!
