  1. Common sense prevails in the judiciary, if not in white van man's football-supporting moral planet, sculpted so carefully by Digger Murdoch biggrin.png

He is guilty in my eyes just cos he plays for that lot. That's all the evidence I need. biggrin.png

Haha smoke you just don't give up....stubborn as a muie! I suppose your lot getting relegated next season will be JT's fault also! tongue.png

  2. You have too much time on your hands smokie. :D

To be fair they were both getting beat when I started the thread....Chelsea are my tip to flop tonight....here's hoping anyway. biggrin.gif

Your predictions haven't been very good of late have they Smokie, please predict Man City will wipe the floor with us on Monday night haha

  3. Rangers boss Ally McCoist eyes Chelsea fringe players

Ally McCoist could ask his old mate, Andre Villas-Boas, for some of his Chelsea fringe players in a bid to bolster the Scottish champions' squad.

The Rangers boss and Villa-Boas first met at coaching courses in Largs. And their sides played out a friendly won 3-1 by the Londoners at Ibrox, with Daniel Sturridge scoring a double.

"I had a good chat with Andre before the game and I am going to see him now and we will talk about out a few things," said McCoist.

McCoist this week secured the return of Kyle Bartley on a second loan spell after the central defender signed a new contract with Arsenal.

And the Rangers manager was pleased with the 20-year-old's performance in a side against a full-strength Chelsea that featured a number of fringe players.

"Obviously, when you get somebody of the quality of Kyle Bartley coming in, that's a great thing as you can see," said McCoist.

"But it would be ridiculous of me not to use the good contacts that I have and I will certainly use every contact that I have to bring in the best players available to the club.

"You can be sure of that."

Rangers owner Craig Whyte promised more new faces after the Glasgow side crashed out of the Champions League qualifiers against Malmo in midweek.

Asked if he was closer to bringing in new faces, McCoist said: "We are working very hard to get players in.

"I am as hopeful as the next man, but time will tell. "There is no point in me getting frustrated."

Nikica Jelavic had headed Rangers into the lead after only six minutes, but Sturridge scored twice before half time and Florent Malouda added a third after the break.

Chelsea's Frank Lampard also had a penalty saved by substitute goalkeeper Neil Alexander.

"It was great to get the young boys involved," said McCoist despite the defeat. "It was great to get Ross Perry, Thomas Bendiksen and wee John Fleck did fine.

"And Neil always gives me food for thought, because he is a top goalkeeper. "We feel we are blessed with two very good goalkeepers.

"You would have to say the youngsters have a very realistic chance, you just have to look at the injuries we had today.

"With Sasa Papac, Goian, Weir, Whittaker and Papac all out, that would indicate they have all got a chance of being involved.

"There are no guarantees, but now might be quite a good time if you are a talented young player at Murray Park."

  4. Looking forward to your big game this Saturday boys? after that disappointing game the other night I'm sure you will try hard to beat us, should be quite a feisty game I think we will beat you 2-0 though :whistling:

  5. Well if u see a girl in an Arsenal tee at the game, feel free to say hello :whistling:

Couldn't see you anywhere, it was a scorcher today, we should of hooked up after the game for a beer, or a lemonade in your case! :-)

  6. Personally i don't think you lot have a hope in hell of even finding the stadium :D

Haha yeah whatever, I will upload some pics from my seat in the stadium, I would like to go and see the players warm up and get some autographs but I'm not sure if I can be arsed to travel to the stadium on a couple of occasions!

  7. hi mate , im old anough to drink , old anough to F--- AND fight for my beloved CHELSEA.

i used to live in stretham mate ,and i know a few battersea boys .

i`ve been here in thailand now for 3 years , have`t been home in that time

i`ve just got home from a right bender with some thai boys .

    going out again soon

i still have`t decided how to get to the staduim via skumivit road .

    plenty of time

What age bracket are you and your missus mate? you two similar age or is there some gap? I'm born and breed in Battersea, what about yourself? let me guess you're a Surrey blue?

As far as the missus going to Soi Cowboy she is good with that, the reason I don't fancy going is because I want to give all the fat, balding, old guys a chance, if a handsome guy like myself rocks up its game over! hahaha

Looks like you have had a skinful mate, you said earlier you was there for 6 years now its gone down to 3. Enjoy your night out, have a few changs for me!

  8. I'm taking the missus also, she just told me the stadium isn't far from MBK so will probably find a drinking hole around one of those soi's, drop me a PM if you wana meet up before the game.

Where are you sitting by the way?

Your mrs must know soemthing the rest of us dont if she thinks the stadium isnt too far from MBK.

The following link may be of use,

Looking at the stadium ticketing plan it looks very much like the Rajamangla to me.

There are no farang style bars in that area, best of luck to you trying to get a taxi back to the town centre after the game.

If it were me I would meet up in the Bamboo bar Suk soi 3, then get the boat from soi 3 to Ram Uni, should cost about 14 baht and take about 20-25 minutes.

From the Uni pier its a good 10-15 minute walk to the stadium.

Yeah you're right mate, apparently the missus thought I was talking about some smaller venue close to MBK, luckily I'm staying in the On Nut area so looking on the map its not too far from us at all.

Yeah I've been to that Gullivers before, going to Soi Cowboy after the game? I thought you was taking the missus? haha I've been there done that mate and I don't think the wife will be up for it to be honest.

I think we are sitting in the green zone. I'm coming over from London, what about yourself?

  12. Next International player to be named and shamed is......Gareth Barrry,

Super Injunctions are the latest must haves for the super rich, the law won't be able to censor the web so its good money going down the drain.

  13. Stick to subbuteo Stevie....on paper yeah right!! :D

it isn't played on paper of course but i really think that ancelotti, wenger and mancini want a shoeing each this season. particularly the two teams in blue which have much greater squad depth and probably quality than united do. this is united's most average squad/team in years and yet they've barely had to perform to win the title and end up in the semis of the european cup again. it's fuc_king depressing.

Much greater in depth? are you sure about that mate? Chelsea have been down to the bare bones for the best part of the season with getting rid of too many experienced players and not replacing them. Then there was all the injuries to key players we have had so all in all I think finishing 2nd in the EPL was a good season.....and to be able to keep Ancelotti for a few more seasons will great in my opinion. :)
