The underpass on Sukhumvit is prohibited for scooters, as there is a sign indicating this. But I still see people using it all the time: is this because T.I.T or because there are no checkpoints anyway?

The police headquarters does not release the reason to the Embassy and so I called my lawyer in France: it seems that if 5 years pass without anyone having an identity card, it is reported to the Police Headquarters and the name remains in the system until you have a new identity card. Whether that's true or not, I don't know.

I don't understand why: I go to redo my passport at the Embassy and, upon issuing it, the official points out to me that the passport cannot be issued because there is an impediment that prevents its release from my Police Headquarters in France. Yesterday I received an email that everything was fine and I could go on Monday to collect my passport: so if I did not broke the law, why did my name appear in the system? Has anyone else, even in a country other than France, had the same problem or at least know wht this happens? Thank you.

A friend renewed his Italian passport. From what I understand, Italy is the most expensive country when it comes to renewing/issuing a passport: 116 euros. In my opinion, these are absurd prices.

Endless stress. Ex-wife, with a new husband (Thai) to whom I left everything, as long as she left me alone. Every two/three weeks she asks for money and money to pay for electricity, water, the installments of the new boyfriend/husband's motorbike, to pay the installments of their apartment and if I don't do, she threatens to report me to the police: for what I don't know, but the mere thought has always made me fall into the trap of this blackmail. But that's enough: she can report me, I'm curious to know for what purpose. Sorry for the outburst.

Here legally in Thailand with my Swiss passport and wanna renew my French one. Last visa on it back to October 2018. From that time, never use it anymore.

I don't use any password to unlock it. If someone stole my phone or i lose it, everyone has free access to it.

They asked me to put what I had in my pockets on the counter. I took out my phone, they took it and, as i don't use any password to unlock it, they checked it and gave it back to me without asking any questions.
