Simple story: guy in Surin with a huge overstay (11 years), helping him anytime he asked and i can, but after one year (oh help) he is still here and, apparently, doing nothing to try (even if is impossible) to sort out his problem or even try to back his country. I wrote here cause the only help he will get from me. from now, will be any possible solution to sort it out, or fly away; he knows about the ban, what he needs to fly out in terms of funds and paperwork? Any possibility he will detained at immigration in Bangkok airport?

I should go from Bangkok to Chiang Mai tomorrow and return on Tuesday, traveling by bus. Will the roads still be passable or will they already be clogged with the end-of-year exodus?

In my old topic I wrote about a 5000 THB scam through western union. I got back 2000 THB but still miss 3000 and the guy promised me to pay back this amount in two weeks. Should I wait or, no matter what, make a report with police or online? Thanks 👍

I just suppose: as WU keep copy of the passport, police can check it and find if he has a bank account and maybe lock it till get money back.

But if he is still here. WU has passport number. They can track him down, maybe lock the bank account till get my money back.

I am new of the forum and so thank you for this great place to discuss about Thailand. I know: I am stupid. I sent 5000 THB via western union for book a place in Phuket. Arrived noone at the airport and the contact on whatsapp blocked me. I have name, surname, address and WhatsApp phone number. There is nothing I can do? Police, online antifraud, something like that? I arrived yesterday and be there three months. Thank you.
