I've used an agent prior and when i went to extend on my own last year and I was told once i use an agent I'm kinda locked in on that until i leave and reenter. I'm aware I can take a flight to Laos and get a 90 day non-o. I've read that i can show 400k (i can't) OR 40,000 minimum (I can). I have VA compensation (Veterans Affairs) that's deposited into my Thai bank account. I also have a statement from the VA showing that I have payment and what i'm paid in US$. Is printing 6-12 months of bank records and highlighting the deposits and letter from VA acceptable? I want to prepare myself prior to exiting Thailand. Thanks much!

So, Savanakhet now asks for 400k? Just for the 90 days based on marriage?

Did your payment ever go into your account? I expected mine today. When I called my bank (Krungsri) I was told I would need to wait 3-5 days. Doesn't make any sense to me. Who knows honestly.

Had anything been mentioned about compensation (VA Disability) It's not taxed in the USA and as far as I'm aware (I hope I'm not wrong) it can't be taxed anywhere else...
