  2. Hi, i have a Non Immigrant O-A (one year 50+ visa). I have asked here before and just want to check if i got this right; My visa ends 19th of november-24. (I entered Thailand last november the 21th). I have not re-newed my visa, i got it last year. If i get my Health Insurance re-newed so it runs one more year and i enter Thailand before the 19th (can i enter on the 19th as well?) - will i get a new year “automatically”? Or is it up to the Immigration Officer when i arrive at the airport? And this is done at the normal Immigration Line at arrival? Is there anything more then Health Insurance i need to think about - anything more needed? Grateful for help
  3. Hi Tod and Oliver, thanks for your reply. This is good news, thanks. Can i ask about the health insurance; Will i need to show proof of this when passing immigration at the airport and it will be done at once, the new one year stamp (if so - is it just to go trough normal immigration or do i need to sort this out in some other way at the airport). Or do i enter Thailand on normal 60day visa and then i need to sort it out with immigration in, for exemple, Bangkok? Grateful for your time and help
  4. Hi, i have a Non-Immigrant Visa O-A 50+ for one year valid from November -23. I stayed 5 months and now im looking to do same thing this coming autumn/winter. I know, or i think, it is possible to renew this visa if in Thailand. Do anyone know if i can renew it from Europe? I had a look at the Thailand Online Visa-site but i could not find anything. Is it possible to use a Visa Agent to do it for a small charge? Or do i still need to be in Thailand to do that? Or is it easier just to go though with a new VISA (still some work with doctors certificate and so on) Or now, with 60 days - is there any problems with doing two shorter (1-2 days) visa runs if im planing for 5 months? That way i would not have to do the 90days check-in i guess? Grateful for all input
  5. Hi DanSG, been there looking. I agree, nice location. Good gym. It is soon 15 years old i guess but still nice buildings. Thanks for your reply
  6. Hi OneMoreFarang, ”You want a top building in an area where many people want to live. And you write about your current place it's "a bit too pricy”. You are right, that did not sound understandable. What i did try to say is that 28 Chidlom do not feel top quality. But great location of course. I did think about high numbers, thong lor area and around
  7. Looking to buy a 40-55 sqm one bed with balcony in a better building in Lang Suan or higher Sukhumvit. Needs to have good pool and good gym. I have been retning in 28 Chidlom, good location but kind of poor gym and a bit too pricy for what dont feels like top quality. What is your top pick buildings? Grateful for input.
  8. Sorry, a lot of Qs but when booking a time online is it this one i should use : Notification of residence when staying in the Kingdom over 90 days
  9. Im staying close to Siam Square
  10. Hi DrJack54, thanks for your help - much appreciated. I only need to bring my passport? (Im on Non Immigrant O-A Longstay 50+ visa).
  11. Hi, Im doing my first 90 day report now soon. Looks to be a bit of a hassle to get to the Immigration Bureau in Bangkok…? You guys that has been doing this for a while - is it easier to go to an agent? What is the cost for using an agent and can anyone recommend a good agent around Sukhumvit, Siam Square? It is my first 90 day so from what i read i can not do it online? Grateful for help
  12. Thanks all for your input. Helpful
  13. Hi, im on a None Immigrant O-A (one year 50+) Visa. Im up for my first 90 days first within a few days. I totally missed this TM30 thing, after getting the Visa i thought that was is - good to go. I have a few questions, grateful if anyone can help out. Since arriving i have stayed at 1. Hotel 5-6 nights before finding condo 2. Condo 6 weeks private thai landlady 3. 2 hotels for 2 weeks looking for new flat 4. New flat by Airbnb last few week Does it matter/help if i ask for TM30 receipt from hotels/thai landlord now, afterwards. By reading about Airbnb in Thailand it looks like this is a problem also for me? How big of a problem will this be? Is it ”just a fine” or bigger issue like loosing the visa? Is it a solution to do a ”visa-run” for a day or two - i understand i re-set my days from close to 90 to 0 - or will i have the same problem at the airport with immigration when leaving or re-entering? Is it better to go though a agent with this problems or should i go to immigration asap to sort it out? Truely grateful for all valid information. Stig
