Chonburi Daikin Stadium to Pattaya Beach buses
Good idea since I'll be arriving there from Bangkok anyway. Thanks!

Chonburi Daikin Stadium to Pattaya Beach buses
Great thanks. I couldn't find any information about whether there were buses from Chonburi Bus Terminal to Pattaya. Do you know what time the last bus runs?

Chonburi Daikin Stadium to Pattaya Beach buses
Yes I know it's women's football (hey, gotta have gender equality here). There are matches in both Chonburi IPE and Chonburi Daikin according to Wikipedia, and the match I'm looking for is held at Daikin. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_at_the_2025_SEA_Games_–_Women's_tournament

Chonburi Daikin Stadium to Pattaya Beach buses
Hello, I'll be in Pattaya next week and it so happens that it coincides with the SEA Games, with football matches held at the Chonburi Daikin Stadium. I'm wondering if there are any public transport options from between Chonburi Daikin Stadium and Pattaya Beach. I've found the train as an option going to Chonburi, but they don't run late enough for the return trip back to Pattaya. Would there be buses from the stadium back to Pattaya?

Thailand Visa Exemption (60 days) and Visa On Arrival (VOA) (15 days)
Or they could just get a SETV before coming. All paperwork submitted online, and still cheaper than a 30-day extension on VE entry. Still plenty of time if the change is announced next Monday.

The source links are two different visa agents (and fairly established ones in Koh Lanta and Pattaya respectively). Of course nothing official from immigration yet, which is why I said to take with a huge punch of salt, but if the agents themselves are hearing things, it's a harbinger of things to come...

Take this with a pinch of salt, though these two sources are well-established visa agents: Source Source

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
My understanding is that tourist visas only entitles you to 2 year DLs and not the 5 year DLs. Have you ever managed a 5 year DL on tourist visa? If yes, perhaps you could get 5 year DLs on the DTV.

To the contrary, the most issues I've had is with airports. Land borders are less problematic. And if you plan to get a visa every few months, it's easier to just get this visa.

And get yourself in trouble with immigration after a while?

If others have used it for the TV, it should be allowed for this

Where did you hear that extensions cost 10k?

The 10k baht to extend was thrown around at the start, but nowhere do we see extensions costing that much. If an extension costs 10k baht, and the visa is multi entry, I'd just go on a border run to get another 180 days - it would cost me significantly less.

DTV requirements have been published on the Thai evisa website. https://www.thaievisa.go.th/visa/dtv-visa Similar requirements to what have been posted above.

RTE and RTC always use an unfavorable exchange rate when converting THB to local currency. Unfortunately not much can be done about that.
