Hi all,
I am looking for a condo to buy and I've been wondering if soi 16 (close to Millenium Residence) and soi 36 (close to La Vie en Rose) have problems during heavy rain.
Thank you in advance for your inputs,

It is for 1 person, but your spouse can apply for a visa and extensions of stay as a dependent of the person doing the investment. Children can only do this till they turn 21.
Believe that in case of an investment in a condominium you need the investment for at least 3 years.

2.5, under sub B (3).
Thank you a lot for the information and the link.
Now I have heard that second hand condos are not accepted.
Did anyone have an experience with this kind of visa?
I am starting to thing that it is too good to be true...

Hi all,
I am buying a condo in Bkk, but I could not find the information if the 10M baht required to apply for an Investment Visa is per person or per family (husband and wife).
Thank you in advance for any input in this matter.

Where is the best place to have some yummy cakes [not in starbuck or other coffee shops]??
and which is recommended?
Hi Thithi!
Glad to find a gal who is not on diet.
One of my favorite place is Food Loft at Central Chitlon, they have an amazing baked souffle and the newests are banana-choc, apple-cinnamon, all yummy.
Enjoy it!

Shiseido at Discovery Center, ground floor, much cheaper then the ohters addresses, I have no idea why... Starting from 1100 bahts, excellent facial!

Crepes and Co., Soi 12, the food is average, no live music but the garden is cozy and you can have loudy chats with no shame.

There is a shop for hair salon products behind the BIG C supermarket, opposite of Central World Center, I do not know the name of the Soi but it is a big shop and the soi is not long. Good luck.

The Somerset is 5 minutes walk to bts, I usually go to Siam Square by foot, there is a sky walk really convenient, stop 5 minutes at the intersection next to Hyatt Hotel, just after Amarim Mall, there is one of the most visited temple in Bangkok, the traditional thai danse is free of charge and if you can stand the noisy from the traffic the view comes directly from the future when the sky train across over your head. To MBK it is about 10 minutes by BTS. I've never had any problem at night time, but it is better to have your bag close to you, I had my bag stolen by a guy in a moto in the midle of afternoon. But believe me, that is unusual, just a lack of chance for me. Relax and enjoy your stay.
Thanks for the reply.
Is it safe night in the surrounding areas?
Do you think is far from the main road for the BTS to Siam Square and to MBK?

Are the any to share?
What about the location, the facilities, the accomodation and meals?
Thanks
Hi, in fact I've just arrived at Somerset and I am enjoying indeed. Location is perfect, in a quiet "soi" but close to everything (bts, good restaurants, shopping centers, cinemas), the flat with one room is quite confortable (ask for garden view, is just amazing) and you can find all facilities for a long stay, such as in my case. Breakfast is beautiful, but not as a 5 stars hotel obviously, the pool is enouth to enjoy the sun, always quiet and clean, laundry is well equiped. The only dark point is the staff, very kind as usual, but a bit confused. Enjoy your stay!
Does the one bedroom enough ofr three persons?
Thanks and enjoy your stay.
So, you have a double bed (but not king size) and a sofa at the living. May be you could ask for a extra bed ...

Hi all,
I want to enlarge a photo to decorate my condo, around 1,80 x 1,80, and if possible with art finition such as canvas, split-panel, etc.
Does anyone know where I could find a local printing shop specialized in this kind of work?
Thank you in advance,
