  1. Oh yea of course, I meant more like help her apply haha Lovely, thank you! We did it today for completion's sake, did take photos in those rooms. Going to go tomorrow morning for the first attempt for her visa, hope it all goes well.
  2. Thank you for the reply. Can you elaborate a bit more on the hand-drawn map? Say I live in a Moo Ban, do I simply draw a road leading up to the house from the main road?
  3. Hi, I plan to apply for non-O marriage visa for my wife (she is foreign while I am Thai), and I know the financial requirements aren't necessary but are the pictures still necessary? I'll be applying at Chaeng Wattana, wondering if anyone here has applied for this recently. If the pictures are still required, what should be pictures be of exactly? I don't know if the officers at CW are very strict about it or not. Also I have heard that we need to print a map of our residence too? is just a google map screenshot fine?
  4. Weird question, but I have a set of the Fifty Shades of Grey books that I no longer want, it doesn't feel right to throw it away but I can't donate it to shelters or schools either haha. Wonder if anyone knows any good second hand book shops or libraries in Bangkok who would take them off me?
  5. Are you certain it was a spouse visa under number 6 of https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=2506 and not a dependent visa under number 4 of https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=2506 These are two different visas with different requirements if I'm not mistaken
  6. Hi, I am a Thai PR here for many years now, I am marrying my non-Thai wife soon and will obtain a Non-O visa for her. But when I read the instructions on obtaining a spouse visa under number 6 on the immigration website (https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=2506), the title says "Apply for or request a change of visa type – to give or receive patronage from a person of Thai nationality or a resident of the Kingdom (in the case of marriage) (Code O)". According to this, my wife-to-be should be eligible for this visa as well, right? I know that under number 8 on the same website there is "Apply for or request a change of visa type in order to give or receive patronage from a person residing in the Kingdom (code O)" which could also easily apply but I think getting a spouse visa would likely have more benefits for her like obtaining a work permit. Does anybody know if a spouse visa is possible here? If we don't know, where/how would be my best bet to find out?
